Hello Everyone
Folsom_Blues wrote: Hello everybody I just want to introduce myself, my name is Hector Ochoa and I am twenty nine years old. First things first, and I really want to get this out of the way - I am writing to you from prison. I admit what I did to get here was wrong and am now serving my debt to society. I have two children that I greatly miss and fortunately get to see every few weeks. I have never been able to bring myself to post here out of guilt, but I just wanted to let you all know that each and every one of you have been a constant source of inspiration for me when things seem to turn for the worst.
Every chance I get to come here I do, and I get to thinking about the wonderful times I would be having with my children if I hadn't made the mistakes I did when I was a younger man. If there is one thing I want you all to remember, is that no matter how bratty and annoying your children can be - you should always cherish the moments you have with them. I myself will never know the joys of raising a child, as when I am released to society my children will be well into their twenties. It pains me to think about it, but it's one of the punishments God has dealt to me for the crimes I have committed.
I really hope you all have a wonderful day, I am unfortunately out of time for today and won't be able to check up on this post for another few weeks.
Sincerely,
Folsom Blues

Bee_Kay replied: Hi
Maybe I'm wrong but I thought that if someone was in prison there was no contact with the outside world through the internet without a 3rd party (like prison pen pal type places)
Anyways, welcome!
C&K*s Mommie replied: I second that confusion about internet access.
But ! Thanks for the encouraging words about relishing in the everyday moments, and enjoying kids being kids.
Brias3 replied: Thirding the confusion here but welcome anyhow.
Thanks for the reminder to cherish the time we have. Wishing you well!
Nina J replied: Hi. I guess you're a Johnny Cash fan???
gr33n3y3z replied: welcome to the board Nice to meet you
If you dont mind me asking which prison are you in? Of course you dont have to answer and if not I understand.
How old are your children?
mckayleesmom replied: My dh said that he believed that some prisons in California allow the prisoners access to the internet every couple weeks.
gr33n3y3z replied: Oh no they get access to the internet just as long as they behave its a priviledge for them
coasterqueen replied: Hi. I just wanted to welcome you to the board. Thank you for posting and being very honest with us. I am glad that we can be an inspiration to you and help you to see what things could be like when you get out. I don't know what you are doing time for but I hope this board helps inspire you to live a better life once you get out and see that you can be a good father to your children.
Welcome.

moped replied: Hello there! Welcome!
mckayleesmom replied: I just want to commend you on your honesty. Im glad that you live a little through us. Admitting your mistakes and trying to better yourself from them is very commendable. I think you said that your kids would be older when you get out, but its never too late to be a great dad then too. Having a great dad as an adult is just as great as having one as a child. You can't change the past, but you can make a better future..Good Luck to you.
ashtonsmama replied: I'm sorry I never properly welcomed you! I'm Amanda, my son is almost 7 months and we're due again with a girl in November. Nice to meet you, and to Nic's comment!
