lisar replied: I think he is testing you to see what you will and wont do. I would have got up like I was gona go and make it and then went to sleep on the coauch.
Calimama replied: Don't break his other leg. You know where I am if you want to yell!!
MoonMama replied: Not yet it will still be a couple more weeks before they put him in one.
I did make it but only because he can't walk yet without crutches and he NEEDED to take his pain meds. But he does know there will NOT be a repeat!
OMG I just realized how tired I really was I meant Cup-Of-Noodles.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I knew that was what you meant, but it's funny b/c I thought about it later and knew you would catch it when you re-read your post. The things we do when we're tired. I was up at 3, too. Only, I hadn't been to bed at all yet. We could have kept each other company.
I LOVE Cup-of-Noodles!!!! They are so bad for you, though.
Danalana replied: OMG....I would have snack bars and water beside him from now on. That's nuts. DH had hiccups all evening yesterday and into the night. I told him if they were still there when I came to bed, he would be moving to the couch! Seriously, I'm already not sleeping well...
MoonMama replied: Glad someone knew what I meant.
luvmykids replied: BTDT, but with my mom when she broke her ankle. Before you go to bed, set him up with a TV tray (is he on the couch or in your bed? either way...) with snacks (a sandwich, chips, whatever), a glass of water, an unopened coke (for the nausea that sometimes accompanies the meds) so he can take his meds without waking you up.
I know if my mom couldn't take them right on schedule and they wore off the slightest bit, it was sheer agony for both of us
MoonMama replied: I knew better and I have been setting him up so he has snacks, drinks and such handy, but I was just so tired.
luvmykids replied: I'm sorry, I know it sucks for you. At least he's got pills, right?
I hope you get a better nights sleep tonight
Calimama replied: That reminds me of when I hurt my leg in HS my mom gave me this AMAZING little bell.. well I spent the day utilizing this great little gift.. and in the morning when I woke up.. the bell was gone.
