He peed.... - ON MY CARPET!

Our Lil' Family wrote: Little stinker Thomas! I never forget to bring a diaper and pj's into the bathroom but tonight I did. I was drying him and told him to go to his room to get dressed and he stopped in the living room and was watching himself pee on my carpet! I quickly scooped him up and put him back in the tub (where he finished his business rolleyes.gif ). What a little stinker! Last time it was on a rug of mine in the kitchen, before the bath....he ran from me after I undressed him! That boy....he'll never potty train...he wants to pee everywhere else!

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Yep, we're going through the "take the diaper off and be naked all the time" phase. Not so cute when they decide to pee on the carpet. Wil has done it several times. Thank god for carpet Oxy Clean!

kimberley replied: happy.gif sorry that happened. James was like that too. we actually had to put newspaper under our tables and easel cuz he'd go quicker than lightning wacko.gif

he even took the meaning of "dump truck" literally once blink.gif wacko.gif laugh.gif

welcome to potty training a boy...it will get better...maybe

amynicole21 replied: LOL! Nora is a freedom pee-er, too. Anytime that diaper comes off you can be sure that she'll be standing in a puddle before you know it. So it's not just boys wink.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: eeewwwww, so glad I never had to deal with that.

lesliesmom replied: I'm having the same proble with my son, Christopher. Only it's not the carpet he used, it was his pillow. Thankfully, his dad was with him when he did it and DH had to clean it up, change the sheets and (even though he didn't wash them) he actually got the sheets downstairs!!! I laughed so hard when he told. And Christopher was SO proud of himself for going potty....

I hope it gets better for you. I have found that boys are not easy to potty train... let me know of any tips/techniques/tricks work for you as I'm not having much luck

withchild334 replied: My daughter pooed on my new living room carpet today. She looked so shocked at what she had done!!

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: This seems to be a regular occurence in my house. LOL. Logan loves nakey time, but I have to be very careful how long I let it go on.

Simplebeliever replied: Oh no! Is this what I get to look forward too?
I'll cross my fingers for you that it doesn't become a regular thing,

momannabelle replied: Don't worry!!! He's still pretty young. He will get it. If he's anything like my boy, he will do it on his terms, when he's darn good and ready, and not a moment sooner. Boys will be boys. They love to watch themselves "go". Even when yours is potty trained, not all of it will go in the toilet. Apparently it is fun to swing around. Find some really good air freshener, and be prepared to clean daily!!

GOOD LUCK!!
