He didn't get it.....

She said he didn't have enough officiating experience. And this is a man that officiated HS bb for 2 year and Adult sports with the City of Scottsdale AZ for almost 6 years. And he doesn't have enough "experience" officiating for them???
I'm so upset right now ya'll. The fates are against us, and our prayers don't seem to be working. I just don't know if I can do this anymore.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Oh, Erika. I am so sorry. Job hunting is always always stressful. And I am sure it's even moreso with two kids to support. We've been lucky. Last time I had to hunt for a job, I still didn't have Logan. I can't imagine what you must be going through. I hope the photography stuff picks up for you.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I'm sorry, I hope he finds something soon!

coasterqueen replied: I know this is just a really stressful time. I hope he finds something soon. With all the new equipment you bought and your business can you bring in income til he finds something?
I remember the days of supporting DH in college til he finished. What fun!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: I'm so sorry your husband didn't get the job! I hope something comes up for him soon! My prayers are with you!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Wow... that's too bad.
I have to ask... how long has he been unemployed? It seems like it's been well over a year... I'm just asking because I got so fed up at DH when all he had was a hamburger-flipping job for a couple years... but at least he was bringing in SOME income... I can't imagine my dh bringing in NO income, and for so long... you're a better woman than I am...
Calimama replied: I'm sorry. I hope something comes up soon.
CantWait replied: I'm so sorry Erika. I know how hard it is looking for a job, I'm fortunate enough though that we're in a position where I don't have to work. I hope something comes up soon.
Geez and I felt bad today because there's no work here. I'm so sorry. Days like this I feel really selfish.
Cece00 replied: I'm sorry. I hope things look up for you guys soon.
mckayleesmom replied: I believe he is employed at Walmart to bring in some money, but its not the job he wants.
gr33n3y3z replied: Erika keep positive thoughts his day will shine
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Ah thanks for clearing that up. He must be sooo frustrated... I remember my dh being very frustrated.
amymom replied: I am so sorry! Really sorry!
luvmykids replied: I'm so sorry, I know you guys were really hoping this was "the one" for so many reasons. I wish something awesome would turn up around the corner
holley79 replied: I'm so sorry sweetie.
MyLuvBugs replied: Sorry it took me so long...we went out of town to visit my mom for her b-day.
I WISH I could make enough right off the bat to pay for everything and take some pressure off of him. But when you're just starting off, and have NO daycare.....it takes a while, KWIM? But I'm printing out brochures tomorrow, and I'm going to leave them at my Chiro's office and my Aunt and Uncles beauty shop. Hopefully, that will get some business to help out. Ebay just isn't cutting it anymore.
I think I've talked him into going to a temp agency to get a better paying job than Walmart . Hopefully, the agency will be able to find something for him that pays better than $8.50/hr. I'm just praying for something that will pay around $12.00/hr and offer benefits.
He just feels so beat down, ya know. I dont' know how to make him feel better. His pride has been so damaged by all this rejection. And I keep telling him, if he wants to stay home, I'll go and get a job and put the biz on the back burner, but he keeps saying no. I think he feels it's his responsibility to take care of all of us, and that I'm doing "my part" by staying home with the girls , but maybe i'm wrong....
MyLuvBugs replied: Yeah, he was fired/quit last February 14th (happy valentine's to us ) and got this job at Walmart in June, but going from $18.00/hour to $8.50/hour is painful to the finances. He's VERY frustrated and getting very depressed about it all.
mom2my2cuties replied: Erika I hope he finds something very soon. It is extremely hard on the whole family. Andrew was out of work for 6 months, and we went from $40/hour to almost nothing overnight.
I hope you can make your business work - And I agree about the temp agency. There are MUCH better paying jobs than Walmart out there. I worked through one, did general office junk and made $10/hour.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Erika, has he put his resume up on job sites? Or on Craiglist? You'd be surprised what you can find on Craiglist...
