Have you ever forgotten....

mammag wrote: to change the clock?

One year I did. I used to go to this church with a friend. We would meet there. I got there at what I thought was the usualy time and went in and sat down. I thought it was odd that they had skipped right to the sermon and didn't sing like they usually do. Then, of course, Susie wasn't there and she never skips. Well, about 15mins later as I was looking around seeing if maybe I just missed her and noticed the time. Then it hit me!!! Daylight savings time! I was there halfway through the 9:30 service. blush.gif I turned sooooo red and wanted to slip out and hide because I knew everyone was thinking. "That fool didn't set her clock ahead! She thinks it's 11:00!

I have never forgotten since.

5littleladies replied: I never have but my parents used to forget almost every spring. We loved it because we always got to go out for breakfast since my parents were too embarased to go to church an hour late. tongue.gif

jcc64 replied: Every time! We are well known for not having one accurate clock in our house. If I didn't have a computer, we'd have no idea what time it is. We don't wear watches, and we don't set our clocks. I don't know why, and my kids always manage to get to school on time, but dh and I resist living by the clock for a reason I don't completely understand.

Kaitlin'smom replied: nope but I would like to this weekend wink.gif

Celestrina replied: I always forget to set the clock in my car. Last year I gave my dad a lift, and when I was out of the car he set it to the correct time. This was one week before we had to reset it again!

mommy2owen replied: all the time!

gr33n3y3z replied: No I'm pretty good about it
I remind everyone and let them change the clocks lol

TeagansMom609 replied: I never remember and I end up walking into work an hour late and feeling stupid. LOL
