Have You/Would You let your DH/DW/SO - buy Personal Items for you?

When I was shopping yesterday I forgot to buy myself some body wash and deoderant. So I sent DH out lastnight to pick up these things. favre4fan replied: Tee hee DH usually does all the shopping so if I tell him exactly what I need he will always buy it for me.

kimberley replied: my DH is good that way too. after Jade was born, he was forever going to get me pads and nursing pads. dunno about letting him buy me undies tho... he would probably come home with something sexier than i would want

We have two daughter who also have periods, so we have a high demand for that stuff and it is no big deal. Mine husband won't buy bra's and undies though. Just b/c my bra size is 38f...and he says that he would if you could get it at wal-mart it wouldn't bother him, but he is not comfortable going to a specialty bra shoppe.

Jamison'smama replied: DH will buy anything--he doesn't care. I wouldn't let him pick out undies but I certainly buy all his personal items.

My2Beauties replied: Yes he will if I ask him to, but I'm afraid he'll buy the wrong kind so I just do it myself usually!!!! He fraked when we had to go buy Desiree a bra, we were in the little girl's bra section and some of them had some padding and he flipped he said my 8 yo daughter is not wearing a padded bra, I'm in KMart really embarrassed at this point!!!

Kaitlin'smom replied: most things as long as he knows exactually what to get. he has only once bought me undies and that was becasue I needed them after the hospital I hated them (not becasue of what he bought, but not the kind I like to wear). however I usually do the shopping so its pretty rare he has to do it by himself

Devlin will go buy anything...he couldnt be bothered....even when we were dating...he's tell me he's going to the shop and he's ask me if I need toiletries and stuf..and he'd buy them for me without batting an eyelid!!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: He would fight it tooth and nail before finally going to get it, but he would. I remember the night we got engaged. We were going to a wedding (he proposed at the reception) and I needed some pads. I had just had surgery the week before for my endometriosis and I had just started my period. I was in SOOOOOOOO MUCH PAIN!!!! I was vomiting, had diarrhea, was zoned from pain meds (it was a LOVELY night ) Anyway, I couldn't even walk. That was the first time he bought my pads for me.

That was probably more info than you wanted.

I have to add that my DH NEVER does the shopping. I can't hardly get him to pick up some milk on his way home, more or less personal items! He doesn't even like to buy his OWN underwear and he hasn't in years....maybe never.

mama3x replied: DH has but I prefer to do it myself. Prevents mistakes and having to go back to the store!

My DH however buys his own underwear b/c if I buy them, he won't wear them since he only likes the regular white ones.

MomToMany replied: I'm making my own menstral pads, but haven't had to use them yet as my period still hasn't returned since Kayla was born.

But DH would never buy stuff like that for me. He'd gladly watch the kids while I ran to the store. Of course, I buy all of his stuff. At least he's not picky.
