Has anyone gone to see - the Doodle Bops live?
mysweetpeasWil&Wes wrote: They're coming to our town in February and I think Wil would love it! He loves the tv show, so seeing them live would be great. But the tickets aren't cheap and I'm not sure if a 2.5 year old could sit through it. Any advice?
mom2my2cuties replied: I would LOVE to see them. I would like to take Andrea - she loves the doodlebops...The awesome thing about stuff like that - they don't have to be still - they can get up and dance
C&K*s Mommie replied: I was hoping that they would come closer to us, so I can take the girls too.
As Tish said above, sitting is not a requirement, he will have a blast!
PrairieMom replied: I wish they would come here. I would deffinately take Ben, and he is 3.
mom2my2cuties replied: WOOHOOO!
Actually they do come to Nashville - but it isn't until March.
I think I am going to start hiding money from myself now
ETA - WOW! Tickets are super expensive
TheOaf66 replied: I do believe I would like to rip my toenails out one by one with a pliers, I don't even think Tanner would like it anymore but a year ago he would have loved it, I would have worn cotton balls in my ears
Boo&BugsMom replied: This is where I draw the line! Veggie Tales Live was tolerable and entertaining. The Doodlebops would have to pay me to go and see them first!
Kaitlin'smom replied: kait liked them for a short time, so NO we will not be goign to see them I did see they were comming to my town, I thought I saw tickets were $15 but that might have been for soemthing else dont remember now....
toady_buckshot_noodle replied: They scare me!!!
holley79 replied: Annika loves to watch them also. I think it would be a great show.
hawkshoe replied: Lol, my thoughts exactly Thankfully my ds hates them. I think they scare him. Honestly, I thought Teletubbies was bad, but I would sit through them 100 times before watching one full episode of the Doodlebops.
Boo&BugsMom replied: This show happens to be on during our tv time at 11:30 while I am making lunch. All my daycare kids want to watch it. I can't even lie to them and tell them it's not on because they know how to spell Doodlebops and they see it on the tv guide screen. I thought the older ones would be done with it, but sigh, they like the dumb songs too much. We're the Doodlebops, we're the doodlebops, we're.....morons! UGH!
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Well I think they're great and very entertaining! I think they send a positive message as well, so I would be happy to take my kid to a show.
PrairieMom replied: I love them I want to be dee dee when I grow up! The Boy loves Moe!.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Yeah...dancing around my house when they come on is one of my guilty pleasures! I like when Moe break dances and spins on the floor! I could have fun at the show too!
PrairieMom replied: Do you have their CD? I got it for Ben for Christmas last year. I had to order it from Canida since it haddn't been released in the USA yet. It has a bunch of good songs on it. Ben always yells at me for singing along to it.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: No. I wonder if I can get it off of Itunes. Thanks for the idea!
