Has anyone ever taken - Dexatrim Natural
Sarah&Mackenzie wrote: I was thinking of trying this. My problem is I snack and it isn't good stuff. Didn't know if anyone had tried this and had any opinions on it? Thanks
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I have taken it, and I think it helped curb my appetite. I also used to take the dexatrim with ephedrine in it and I got really bad shakes and heart palpitations with that. I can't remember for sure if I had any weird side effects with the dexatrim natural or not it's been a couple of years since I took it... but it seems to me I was kind of shaky on that too.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I have some and don't really notice a difference. I am going to buy the One A Day Weight Smart instead. I think it is more beneficial. They also have the Equate brand at Wal Mart for a lot cheaper.
booey2 replied: I think that is the vitamin in the green package. If it is tried them and haven't boughten them again. I am sticking to my B6 & B12 vitamin. They have helped me with mood swings, cravings and PMS so I don't think I will buy the other again.
mckayleesmom replied: they didn't do anything to help me either. So I bought the One A Day for Energy kind.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I couldn't live without my B-12 and B-100. They give me so much energy. Nothing boosts your metabolism more than exercising and a healthy diet. And nothing can make you eat less or stop snacking. You have to do that on your own. If you are looking for energy to exercise I would suggest the B vitamins. They are a miracle worker for me.
Kaitlin'smom replied: question on the B vitiams...I could deffinalty use more energy do I need to take both or just one...I am so lost on this
and to answer the thread question yes I have taken them and it did nothing for me
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Aimee do you know if it's ok to take those while breastfeeding?? I want to start exercising so bad but I don't have enough energy to even clean my house.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Really I wouldn't see why not, Sara. It is just a vitamin. It just gives you a little more B vitamins than your multi vitamin will. Ask your doctor, but I bet it is fine. Are you still taking your prenatals? If not, you may want to continue those.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I take both, but if you only want to take one, take the B-100 with your multi vitamin. Find a really good multi-vit that is geared towards women and you will be good to go.
Kaitlin'smom replied: thanks I have the one a day weight smart, just need to get back to taking it I will have to look for some b-100 and see if that helps
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I'm taking Flinstones. I still have some Target brand prenatals but I couldn't ever remember to take them so I bought some Flinstones and I never forget those... in fact I have to use all my will power to not eat all of them!
A&A'smommy replied: I want to try them and see if they work I snack a LOT too but I'm doing better now I just need to eat a little less at one time
Kaitlin'smom replied: okay some days I do get in a scooby doo vitaiman, when Kait takes hers sometimes she gives me one, they are pretty good, I could also eat alot of them
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I take the kids vitamins, too!! I love them.
mckayleesmom replied: When I was pregnant I took flinstones...cause the prenatals made me sicker then a dog.
RAFANOMENON replied: ahk!! you all need your wrists SLAPPED! i work for a private supplement store (www.supersup.com) and there's a reason why wal-mart vitamins, one-a-days, and flintstones, etc. are cheap, meant for kids, etc!
ESPECIALLY with prenatals. WOMEN: a flintstones vitamin is no substitute for a women's vitamin. why you ask? one: prenatal vitamins contain VITAL minerals and vitamins essential for brain development, and to prevent complications in the uterus' development. I can go WELL into detail on which vitamin does what, but TRUST ME. at least 18mg of iron, 200mcg of folic acid are essential in a prenatal vitamin.
if ANY of you have questions on vitamins or supplements in general, visit www.supersup.com and go to the healthnotes section on the page. and stay away from the mass-produced vitamins! they're lab-produced, not natural, use very dense, high-sodium binders, hard to dissolve/digest, i can go on and on.. there's a reason why they're inexpensive!!
