Has anyone ever been in a cleaning mood...

5littleladies replied: I have been but I've been so sick that it has been almost impossible. It's really aggrivating to have a disaster of a house when I want it to be clean so badly. As soon as this cold is gone-Watch out house!!

Kaitlin'smom replied: I usually get in the mood to do that when I am at work, and by the time I get home the mod is gone I need to get some cleaning done before christmas....espically Kaitlins room/closet. i know she is gonna get lots of stuff so I need room!

Same here!!! I need to go through the girls stuff and throw things out. We have wayyyyy too much stuff-especially with Christmas almost here.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I was like that on Tuesday. I was cleaning everything. Closets, floors, windows...You could not have stopped me from cleaning on Tuesday. I went all day long without sitting down. Now, I need to finish the rest, but don't want to. I want to play! And my parents are coming in this evening. I'll get it done, I just need a jumpstart.

And we won't talk about Maddie's room! She has a playroom and a bedroom full of STUFF! Yikes! It is a mess (both places)



I used to say that when Maddie was a baby. OMG! What was I thinking? Someone heard me I guess! LOL! McKaylee will have more than you know what to do with before you know it.

Off to clean..........

I hate cleaning, but I'm sure that "nesting syndrome" will kick in sooner or later (probably later )!!

jen replied: All my friends call me Mrs. Clean! ha ha! I feel like I am always cleaning! They laugh too b/c I have DH trained so well! He never makes a mess that he doesn't pick up! They laugh because when he takes a shower he then cleans up the the water on the floor and takes his towel and dirty clothes to the laundry room! ha ha! I am so lucky!

This is how I trained Josh to clean up after himself after many months of frustration when we lived in a small apartment waiting for our house to be built.

*I took a tall laundry basket set it in the corner of our bedroom and everything he left out like: clothes (clean or dirty), sega controls, games, bills, his paperwork, magazines, books whatever went into the basket! Then when he was ready to go somewhere or needed something he would have to go through that basket AND the rest of our little apartment was CLEAN! ha ha!

It worked for me! and we didn't fight at all about things being kept clean! So I don't need the basket anymore I jsut threaten to get one! ha ha!

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Ha...I get in the mood to clean...but do I do it? Heck no! I'm much too comfortable lying in bed, or on the couch...or in a bath....I'm on maternity leave, I'm using that as vacation time before the baby comes.... forget housecleaning.... lol

But I have to get on it... I have so much more to do, snd DH sure won't be the one doing it!
