Hanna is sick

My2Beauties wrote: Poor baby! I am going to take her to the doctor today. She has been congested for the past week now, I kept thinking it was a cold that would run it's course, I hate to take her to the doc and they give her an antibiotic or some crazy cough syrup that drugs her up and makes her really sleepy, but last night she had a really bad coughing fit and she almost vomited from it so I am taking her, she has been coughing on and off in spurts and her nose is running really bad. Wish her well vibes guys!

jcc64 replied: Sounds like the same thing Corey has, LeaAnn. She's been sick all week. Started with a barky, croup-like cough, then she woke up Mon with a fever, runny nose/eyes, and a nasty chest cough. Talked to another mom who was buying copious amounts of cold medication in Walgreens the other day, and apparently, this virus is raging through all the schools up here. Definitely a little more intense than the average cold.

My2Beauties replied: Well I took her to the doctor, she just has a little cold they said. She hasn't been running a fever or anything, just a cough here and there and then a runny nose every now and then! They gave her some prescription decongestant and cough suppresant, let me tell ya that stuff knocked her out, she slept so good last night! I hope she starts to do better soon!
