amynicole21 replied: Unbelievable.
coasterqueen replied: OMG! You have got to be kidding me?!
hoosier momma replied: Crazy.
Kaitlin'smom replied: sorry but come on let all find something better to complain about, heck you might as well complain it was raning and peopel were getting soaked, I am sure someone in the crow was wearing white OH no that might show something get real
lisar replied: I cant believe people complain about that stuff. Enjoy the show and quit trying to make a big deal out of nothing. I hate that.
gr33n3y3z replied: people need to get a life and stop looking for something to complain about
stella6979 replied: I couldn't agree more.
DansMom replied: That's funny. I mean, it DID cross my mind---but only to the extent that it made me chuckle.
Where is the outrage over the incredibly violent commercials? I swear I've never seen so many people kicked, beaten, slapped and injured for laughs in my life as during the first two commercial breaks for the super bowl. That really bothered me, especially with my 4 year old in the room soaking it all up.
stella6979 replied: Exactly. I looked at it and chuckled myself, but to make it seem as if they did it on purpose is just ridiculous. I'm sure the farthest thing from their minds was finding a way to make Prince's guitar look like genitalia. Give me a break!!
lesliesmom replied: People just really need to relax and take things as they are. He is a performer and that was part of his performance. Was it meant to be phallic? who knows, who cares. I've been hearing about this for a couple days now and I can't believe people are wasting their time and energy on this. I agree, some of the commercials were far worse in comparison to what Prince did at the half time show.
Calimama replied: Pathetic.
Boo&BugsMom replied: OMG! That's kind of funny because that was the comment my father, mother, and hubby made during that part! "He was pulling an Austin Powers" hubby said. I thought it was funny, not anything that needed to be complained about, geesh!
cameragirl21 replied: idk, i think someone offended by that should just go live with the amish....
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I don't know if I was too busy trying to catch the fleating glances of the Marching 100 or what, but I didn't even notice the supposed symbolism until I read that article. People just need to quit trying find faulty with every little thing.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: I was on the phone with Bill when the show was on and I said as soon as I saw it-Here we go again! I knew someone was going to get upset...I was pretty ticked by the 1/2 time show too-I only turned the game on for that breif period and did not see a single 'new' commercial except the Jessica Simpson/Pizza Hut one Plus phalicesque guitar or not-I think Prince's show stunk...the sheet scene at least gave me a good laugh!
jcc64 replied: I'm thinking, just to be on the safe side, next year we should have the Mormon Tabernacle choir perform the halftime show.
