Hair question....

mummy2girls wrote: This Friday i am getting my hair cut and styled. I want it to still stay long for my wedding. But i just dont know what style.. here is what i look like.. what would you recommend and any pics or websites?

mummy2girls replied: another close up of face

mom21kid2dogs replied: When I was looking for a new style, I googled "hairstyles" and got a bunch of sites. I just started paging through until I found what I wanted. I used to have a great stylist who did the choosing for me because I loved her take on my hair but she quit to be a nurse. It's so hard to find a great stylist, I think.

momofone replied: maybe just long layers around the face. For the wedding I think it would look pretty if you pulled it back and left some curls around the face. happy.gif

grandma replied: It's kinda hard to tell what your hair looks like not in that ponytail. Is it shoulder length?

Kaitlin'smom replied: sorry hun I need to see it down to get a better idea.

Our Lil' Family replied: I think any style that doesn't allow you to wear it in a ponytail. I don't think I've ever seen your hair down....your face is too pretty to not have a nice hairstyle framing it. hug.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Personally...since it looks pretty short....I would just trim it and let it grow a little before the wedding. Then chop it into a cute bob or something after. It looks pretty short now...so Im not sure you would have alot of options without cutting it even shorter and you said you wanted it longer for the wedding.

grandma replied:
That makes sense Brianne!

moped replied: I think you should get the "modern shag" cut with long sweeping bangs........

A&A'smommy replied:
thats what I was going to say!!

grandma replied:
I LOVE that look..the shag was my first haircut from really long straight hair (back in the day)...lol

Jamison'smama replied: Okay Shelly, just giving you a hard time here...I know the ponytail is the working mom's hairstyle but I don't think I ever see your hair down...what does it look like now when it is styled? You didn't cut bangs last time did you? Put your hair down, style it, take a picture then we can offer suggestions smile.gif

I'm typing this with my daughter's ponytail holder in my hair right now wink.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied:
ditto. I have no idea what to tell you to do to it from the pics you posted. I'm thinking the shag, use a straightening iron, give it some lift at the top....spend some time styling it and get it out of the ponytail. Your hair is a beautiful color...show it off!! thumb.gif I pay lots of money for my hair to be that color. wink.gif

sparkys2boys replied: My only advice is to not get something drastic done that cannot be undone before the wedding!! So that means no rebillious pink hair or spikes ok tongue.gif tongue.gif

Gl with it I am sure it will look great!!

mummy2girls replied: ok here it is down:)

sparkys2boys replied:
HOLY... I would have thought it ws much shorter!!!

Sam & Abby's Mom replied: For a wedding, I think a classic, elegant look is always the best way to go. Personally, wearing it down on your wedding day seems a bit too casual for me. I would wear it in an updo of sorts,,with strands/curls framing your face (like someone else mentioned) and curls pouring out and up.....does that make sense? Sorry if it doesnt,,,I'm on Mommy overload here. LOL
Just my opinion. I'm sure however you wear it,,,you will look gorgeous!

Calimama replied: I'm not sure. I think it would be neat to see you with a more vibrant color though!
