Had our U/S today. Katherine was right

Yep. She has always said "it's a sister" whenever I'd ask if the babys a boy or a girl.

I'll bet yours is a boy! My girlfriend was having trouble conceiving a second and had a miscarriage. She was sad but they decided to give it one more go. Well, they were on a car trip in March and out of the blue, their 4yo DD said "mommy, you will have another little girl on July 4th". She was shocked because that was going to be one of her fertile days and sure enough, she got pregnant on july 4th, it's a little girl and all is well so far. Kids are creepy

Yep. Lauryn was actually our first choice for Katherine but I had dreams of cats and for some reason, I felt that Lauryn wouldn't fit her. We settled on our second choice, Katherine Taylor, for her.

However, my cousin named her little boy Kainen so now my grandmother is all up my butt about naming this one with a K name so that all of her great grandkids have "k"names. UGH! Kendall may end up being a middle name as we both love that name too but it's too popular to use as a first.

As it stands right now, with no real discussion, this baby will be Lauryn Machlan if we dont' decide on something else.

I have just not been in the mood to baby name shop lately. Is it wrong to use a name that we picked out for our first?

If we have a boy we'll use the name we picked out the 1st time when we weren't sure what Kylie was. I think it's fine to use a name you had already thought about using

Lauryn is one of my favs! Ryan's grandpa was named Loren though and Dh wants our babies to have their "own" names so we could never use Lauren. That was my first pick each time but voted down, lol.

How exciting! I was hoping for a girl the second time around, I wanted Chloe to have a little sister so they could share the same room and pass down clothes to each other but I wouldn't trade my little man for anything...
