HELP... ELMO PULL-UPS NEEDED.

coasterqueen replied: Pampers has the ELMO ones, but there is also Zoe, Cookie, and Big Bird and maybe a few others, lol. Why not distract her long enough to get the diaper on plus her pants before she notices? Will she still not let you?

What a silly girl! LOL! Kylie doesn't even pay attention to them, lol.

3_call_me_mama replied: pampers has elmo ones but in every pack we have bought there is at least one other character as well, usually it's big bird.... Cameron does the same thing... he says " need a new elmo mama," and when i get a big bird one he says "no, not bird, ELMO!" So we weed through to find an elmo one and on the days that he doesn't seem to notice or if he is being difficult anyways, then i just put a big bird one on him.

kimberley replied: oh boy, that is a dilemma. do you know any other moms with kids her age who would be willing to swap? i don't know if you have them there, but they have a pampers outlet here where you can buy them in bulk (they are just not neatly folded or packaged) and you could buy all elmo one's that way. if worse comes to worse, buy elmo undies and potty train early? it is best to do it in the summer imo.
hopefully it is a very short phase and she will forget about her big bird boycott soon lol. good luck!

Today I walked into the kitchen to find all of the Big Bird pull-ups on the floor next to the trash can. I think she was trying to throw them away but she can't reach the trash can because the kitchen is gated off. LOL I guess she is serious about nothing but ELMO!

OMG, she is just too cute, and too smart Sorry... I wish I had some advice for you! What if you found a diaper cover that had elmo on it? That way it wouldn't matter what was on the real diaper since she always had an elmo cover on?

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Oh boy. One of my goals is to have Jade potty trained before we have another baby. Since we are ttc I am going to have to start pretty soon. She has a potty and sits on it, we just haven't tried it without the diaper yet. Is this what I am going to have to look forward to. LOL!!!!! Leave it to Ashley to demand only one kind of pull-up. I think you have gotten some really good suggestions. Hopefully the Pamper's one just have elmo.

KatieLeigh79 replied: Otherwise see if you can contact Pampers (or whoever else does the Elmo pants) and see if they have a way you can buy them with just 1 char. on them - a friend of the family had to do this one time with their son and only wanting a certain char and the companies are sometimes willing to help you out or let you buy in bulk directly.
