We watched the fireworks last night over the mall about 20 miles from here. Today Lee is working until 1pm or so. Mary Beth is gone to a parade in a nearby town, helping my SIL who has three of her grandchildren for the summer, MB is like a 'mother's helper' to SIL. Then when she and Lee get home we are going to bbq hamburgers and just hang out. .... Billy is still sleeping typical 16 year old.

redchief replied: We've got two fireworks displays scheduled here. One tonight and one Friday night. I'll be running the fire department response during those celebrations. Lisa is riding in the fireboat in the annual July 4 boat parade. I'm going to get pix weather permitting. This afternoon we'll be resting, getting ready for a very long weekend.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Doh! Forgot to say what I'm doing. I'm working until 4:30, 10 hours at time and a half. Love working holidays. Then, I'm going home, cracking open a beer to celebrate that I'm done for the week. After that, I'm taking down Logan's crib and putting it in the basement for storage. WooHoo! Logan's getting a big boy bed tomorrow. Have to do a little more cleaning and organizing. After that, it should be time to head outside and watch the fireworks. Although we're in a burn ban, so I'm not sure they'll still do the big display. "The Biggest Show in Idaho"
