My birthday fell on a hectic day, so we are going to celebrate this weekend. I had some work that I had to do, then I volunteered in Ashley's school, then I took her to girl scouts, and luckily cheerleading practice was cancelled due to snow or I would have had to taken her there.

Ashley was so cute when she asked if she could reschedule my birthday for Thursday since my birthday is such a busy day. rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif She did make me a cake... she made it by herself with the exception of me putting it in and pulling it out of the oven. (She told me to close my eyes while I do that part laugh.gif ) She read the instructions, measured the ingredients, mixed it, poured it into the pan, and even told me what temp and how long to bake the cake (I had to double check that part... :lol) She put on icing and of course lots of sprinkles. It was yummy and the best birthday cake I ever had. laugh.gif

This weekend Rod is taking me to my favorite restaurant.
