Gustav hell

Our Lil' Family wrote: Hey y'all. Don't have much time, just popping in for a minute to update. We were hit VERY BADLY in Baton Rouge. This is the worst we've EVER received. Katrina went east of us, we were on the good side. Rita was west of us, we were on the bad side but far enough away, well Mr. Gustav went about 60 miles west of us, not good news.
I am at my mom's right now because she has power, she lives 75 miles west of me. Tim is at home with no power and no sign of power for DAYS or WEEKS! I have a hard time getting him on the phone and live near it for when he can get a signal.
We drove home from Hot Springs (our extended vacation) yesterday, there must have been 300 power trucks following us home. We are so thankfull for all the Indiana plates we saw, our heros coming to help us out!! Props to Indiana.

There was no damage to our home, or the one we are currently building. There is just wide spread damage in our area. Please keep us in your prayers, we have a lot of work to do. I'm not sure when I'm heading home, no electricity sucks...and as much as I want to be home I may stay here a few more days.

Having no power sucks. We went a day without power a month or so ago and it really sucked. I couldn't imagine going weeks without it. I hope everything returns to normal soon.
