Guilty Secrets???
MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: I was just going through the mail and I have to confess. Aaron has a subscription to Batman comics. And I always read them before he gets a chance to. Shhh, he doesn't know it, he just thinks I take off the wrapper because I take all the mail out of the envelopes. Do you have a guilty secret/pleasure your SO doesn't know about?
Hillbilly Housewife replied: I'm not making more of an effort to get Naomie in her own bed because I like thatr she cuddles with me...
I to hide Pepsi cans from the case when we get it... because although I don't drink pop very often, I crave Pepsi now and then... course by then DH has drank them all... so at least I always have a few Pepsi cans hidden away when the craving hits
holley79 replied: I hide chocolate in various places of the freezer that DH doesn't see.
Crystalina replied: There are many times his friends call and I don't give him the message because "I forgot". He's gone all week and his friends find out when he's going to be home and call ALL THE TIME. I think it's totally rude of them. Oh, AND they come over when he's only home for two days and he's too nice to tell them to bug off . I just answer the phone and tell them, "Oh yeah, he's actually in the middle of somthing. I'll have him call you right back." And then of course I never do. You'd think they'd get it. I've been doing it forever.
ETA: Only his young, single friends do this. His buddies that have wives and families are decent about it.
luvmykids replied: Mine was the classic take-the-tags-off-and-hang-up-the-new-clothes-before-he-sees-them-trick. It was easier to pretend I'd had them for awhile when the tag wasn't still hanging to incriminate me
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: "oh, I've had this forever."
luvmykids replied: "What, this old thing?"
Nina J replied: I take tags off clothes too I also tell DH things are fake. I bought a pair of Christian Dior sunglasses that cost way to much, so I told DH they were fakes and I got them for $10
Emily had a train set, it had wooden train tracks that join together, some are straight and others have curves in them, theres bridges and stuff. So, you can build you own train track and make it however you like. I play trains with Emily alot, but sometimes when the kids and DH are out I play with it by myself.
I've mentioned before that I like Toy Story, DH knows I like the movie, but I don't think he realises it's one of my favorites. I put it on at night if I'm up alone, I tell DH I do it because there's nothing good on tv and Toy Story's easy to watch. He doesn't know that I fast-forward to the bit in Toy Story 2 where they put the prospector in the girls back pack, and she says "Look Barbie, a big ugly man doll" OMG, I love that bit..I watch it over and over
Boys r us replied: I'm bad about buying things and taking the tags off of them before DH sees how much they cost too!! LOL he's MUCH more Frugal than I!!!
Our Lil' Family replied: "These shoes? I bought them last year!"
"Purse" can be inserted as well!!
Cece00 replied: I've done this too!
Last night, I ordered eggrolls with chinese delivery & ate them BOTH before DH got home...he saw right through me, though! I do this with other foods, like when I grocery shop, I'll eat or hide something I bought just for me. Or if I go get takeout, I'll order a little treat & eat it before I go home so he wont say "Did you get me one, too?/Where's mine?"
msoulz replied: Hee hee!! I had (note past tense) a bag of chocolate and peanut butter cookies hiding in the refrigerator until this morning . . .
TANNER'S MOM replied: Well, I do the clothes tag thing too..but I also do the round to the nearest or farest dollar thing. If those jeans cost 49.99..they were 40.00 and if they were 75.00 they might still be $40.00 it's just easier that way..lol Same with nails.. he hates my nails and thinks they are are a waste..and to actually TIP someone who does them.. so if he says how much was it.. it's always the amount minus the tip,
I hide twizzlers from my family. I also hide beer from Randy.. b/c if I don't when I get thristy or stress there will be nothing. lol
