I figured out it was George when he did the first 0 on her hand....I already knew it was somebody that they knew, but really didn't suspect George because I thought he was still at the hospital because they showed him telling Bailey that he joined. I thought it was going to be mer and little Grey's dad.

HOW COULD THEY END IT THAT WAY...??

I really don't like that new doc, the one who seems to have a thing for Torres, she is annoying.

I thought it was Grey's dad too... even put it on my facebook I thought it was him. But I guess George made more sense anyway with the girl saying she didn't really pay attention to him (why would she pay attention to an old guy... lol).

I agree, Izzy probably won't die... but I hope they don't do something like make her a vegetable because that would be really sad with the whole DNR thing.

She's still slated to leave the show as far as I've heard from everyone. Maybe she'll be so mad about the DNR thing and so upset over George that she'll just move away... I dunno

I am always so clueless....I knew John Doe had to have a purpose, but had no clue whatsoever it was someone they knew until about 3 seconds before Meredith figured it out.

mckayleesmom replied: In the first episode of the series, Burke chose George to do a procedure, an appendectomy. When inverting the stump, george pulled to hard on the strings and wound up tearing the tstrings and making the area around the appendix contaminated. Burke had to step in before the patient went septic and possibly died. Up in the gallery, all the other interns were betting on how long George would last before he had to ask for help. Meredith had george's side but Christina was a nay sayer. When the strings toar she labeled him "007". Alex filled in "Licensed to kill". It relates to the fact that all doctors have to have a license to practice medicine. It also relates to James bond but only in so far as it uses the tagline "Licensed to kill". Meredith brought it up probably because she forgot who came up with the label. After all, this season Meredith did have George do her appendix thus overcoming his nickname.

And there were 2 times when I had OMG moments with George - the first was when he signed up for the army. And you all know the second. Wow, what an amazing episode!!

ETA I too don't care for Torres' new woman. She just hounds people - but I guess in her defense she doesn't stop until gets the answers she wants, which is good for her.

Then, I remembered back to the scene where they were operating on John Doe, and they were talking about George joining the army. I can't remember if George was awake during that time or not?

It was a really good episode!

mckayleesmom replied: Nobody expected it to be him because we previously saw him talking to Bailey when he told her the news....When did George leave the hospital? He was there that morning...

I have another question....when Callie said "look at his arm"....Was it missing?

What's going on? George died????? how?!

he pushed a girl out of the way of a bus i think it was and was dragged. so his head was pretty much smushed in. They could not id him because his haed and face was so damaged and bleeding and bruised. right at the end he fingered 007 on mederith's hand and thats when she figured out it was george. They rushed him in for brain sugery i believe it was and at the end it showed izzy being worked on and she was seeign herself in an elevator and when she opened it george was standing there and thats when the show ended.. no one knows if they both died or just one. or none... in about 3 months we will know...LOL

I didnt know about 007 so I wondered how that let mer know who it was..thanks.

I dont mind callies girlfriend, because she is a peds. dr and she kinda acts like a kid, and silly..so she fits right in her profession.

I think the comment about the hand or arm of george's was that it was totally crushed.

it was a good episode.

I also was afraid that when derreck and mer. just wrote their vows on that post it, and derrek was focused on saying there was always enough time or another day, that maybe one of them might be in an accident
