boyohboyohboy wrote: When you had your children, what is the one item you just couldnt live without, or found you got the most use out of?
i thought this topic might be helpful for new moms..

I love my boppy! I dont think nursing would have been the same without it! wub.gif

PrairieMom replied: Its deffinately gotta be our bouncey seat. It vibrates and has a heart beat sound. It was a huge hit with The Boy, and it looks like The Girl is going to be a fan too!

moped replied: exersaucer

AlexsPajamaMama replied: Bouncy Seat
We had the vibrating Aquarium one that made water sounds and the fishies moved. Alex loved it! He layed in it the first day he came home from the hospital and we got alot of use out of it!
A definate must have for the next one.

mckayleesmom replied:
Im going to second that.....especially usefull in the hospital after a c-section. I wish I had gotten one with Macky.

mckayleesmom replied: I will also say our swing with Duck mobile for Mckaylee...she loved that sucker.

kit_kats_mom replied: Boppy first then sling. Love my sling. In fact I had put it away since I haven't used it in awhile but when Lauren got sick and clingy, I pulled it out and used it today while tending to my other business.

C&K*s Mommie replied: exosaucer, too. the girls loved that thing! laugh.gif When they were older, we took it down to turn it into a race track of sorts with one of the race cars on the top.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Swing for us thumb.gif

Our Lil' Family replied: Tie between the Bumbo Seat and the swing. Thomas napped in his swing until he was like 4 months old! We even had a travel one...sometimes I wish I could still put him in one!

MomToJade&Jordan replied: #1 was my boppy. I didn't have one with Jade and I have no idea how I nursed her without one. My Mom bought me one right after Jordan was born and I loved it. It was also the only thing I could use for a pillow those first few weeks and not get a stiff neck.

The Fisher price Ocean Wonders Aquarium. I had this in Jade's crib and now it lives in Jordan's.

Any mobile with a remote control. Man that thing was cool. Again we had the Ocean Wonders one for Jordan. That thing had a light show. I could just lay in bed and keep hitting the button until she fell asleep.

The snugli. Jade wouldn't have it, but Jordan loved it. I could walk around and do myshopping and she would just pass out in it.

youngmomofone replied: Ditto the bouncy seat!

CantWait replied: With Robbie it was his swing, it was my heaven sent.

With Anthony it was the excersaucer. He didn't like it a lot, but it was useful when we were eating dinner.

lisar replied: I say the bouncy seat cause it vibrates and has music on it and Raygen just loved hers.

JP&KJMOM replied: Vibrating bouncy seat here with both of mine.

3_call_me_mama replied: Can't really think of a product we lcouldn't have lived without. While they had an excersaucer and a jumperoo (well kathlen had teh jumparoo) they used tehm on occassion but not often enough that they couldn't be happy with out it . I guess it woudl have to be a carseat~ cause we couldnt' go anywhere without one.... LOL other than that maybe our sling which we didnt' use a ton with cameron btu a fair amoutn with kathleen and for this one we are getting a new sling cause we are not usign a baby bucket (infant carseat) an will be carrying this baby a lot more.
In fact most of our "products" were the first thing to get put away when the house got cluttered. Blankets on teh floor were the most used as entertainment i guess smile.gif (Or US! LOL )

amynicole21 replied: Boppy for both girls, and bouncy seat for Nora thumb.gif

Ashlynn's Mommy replied: My baby had really bad colick for the first 3 months. she wouldn't sleep at night, and she would wake frequently in the day, and she also had infant reflux. she was awake and cried from around 12:00am to about 6:00am. It was horrible!! I went into babies r us one day by myself all depressed because of the colick situation. I bought the papsan cradle nature swing, and the new fisher price motion glider. That was the best purchase I ever made!! If your expecting, I deffinately reccomend these two items. They have been a godsend. At night she slept in the motion glider. It has a slight incline so it was good for her reflux. In the day when she napped she slept in her swing.

TANNER'S MOM replied: Well I am jealous and old..when I had my babies we didn't have any of this fun stuff..
Just a swing and a walker which is no dangerous..who knew!

MyLuvBugs replied: Our swing. It was a life saver!!!

TheOaf66 replied: the vibrating bouncy seat, the boy loved it and was always calm when he was in there.
