Good laugh - At my expense

holley79 wrote: I had to go to Wal Mart on my way into work today. Had to get some witch hazel pads and some bananas. (Had really bad charlie horse today) I also wanted to get some juice and stuff to tied me over for my 12 hours shift. (Plus Halloween Candy was 50% off. LOL)

Well I am waiting in line to check out and there is this most adorable little boy sitting in the buggy. He looks past his mommy, has the most adorable grin on his face and I smile at him. He's so precious. Well he points at me and tells his mom loudly, "Look my a pumpkin." (I was wearing a brown shirt though.) He was pointing at my belly. I laughed so hard I almost wet myself. (TMI I know) Well his mother was horrified. I told her that I work for the SO and told the Sheriff just the other day that I had swollowed a pumpkin. I have been laughing since I left there. It really made my day.

I know I can't wait. LOL. I think kids are just great.

I told everyone at work about it so everyone got a great laugh. Isn't that what kids are for, bringing joy into each and everyone of our lives. They may not be our own but they still have the same effect.

She was. If she could have walked out of that store gracefully I think she would have. Even though I was laughing so hard about it she was still upset. I told her not to worry. It made my day actually.

I still laugh about it.
