Good Idea or Bad Idea

C&K*s Mommie replied: hate to be the party pooper...but I do not see any reason as to why this would be a BAD idea... at all!! That would be encouraging to me, if I were her.

holley79 replied: I think it is a most wonderful idea. We did something simular for my grandmother years ago and she kept it with her at all times just as a reminder as to what was important in her life and how strong she had to be.

jcc64 replied: A GREAT idea. I watched my dad fight a long battle with cancer. In all the various hospital rooms, facing all the horrible tests and procedures and bad news, he clung to his precious pictures of his grandchildren like a lifeboat.
The best possible thing you could do for her, imo. I'm sorry she's going through this, and she's very lucky to have you behind her. I hope it turns out the way you want it to.

My2Beauties replied: Wow Brianne that is very thoughtful and I think it's a wonderful idea! If I were her I would treasure that and keep it with me at all times. My P&PT's for her and your family, I hope she fights this awful disease tooth and nail! I have a keychain from Avon with a pink diamond breast cancer awareness symbol on it and it's a locket, it has Hanna's picture in it, it's really beautiful! It's teeny, so I know you need something larger for all the kids but look at Avon and stuff, they have a lot of breast cancer awareness stuff and I noticed Wal-mart did too the other day when I was in there with my friend!

redchief replied: Shame there wasn't an "I can't think of a better idea" radio button. That would have been my choice. Having lost my dear MIL to breast cancer, we know the fear the family is feeling right now. If just a little of that negative energy can be channeled into the fight, perhaps it will make all the difference!

mckayleesmom replied: Thanks everyone....I talked to her today and they changed her surgery to a couple weeks and she is also having a partial hysterectomy this week...if it doesn't work...then they are doing a full one...she has been having problems with endometriosis.....Poor woman. I got her charms made today...I changed the saying though.
