Gone to DayCare!
Kirstenmumof3 wrote: Well she's gone and my heart is breaking! I was fine this morning until my DH put her in her snowsuit and told her to say "goodbye to mommy"! I knew I was going to be upset but I didn't think I would take it quite so hard! I don't know what I'm going to do today, but I know I can't stay in this house!
aspenblue1 replied: I am so sorry. I know how hard it can be. I was so upset when I had to leave Isabella at the sitters.
mummy2girls replied: AWWW i am sos orry you have to do this. I know it is hard to let your dd go to daycare..But it will get a bit easier as the time goes by. Remeber this is only temporary and then you will have your sweet claudia at home with you again!!!!!
momma2jenna replied: I think you should definately get out of the house today like you said! It will make the day go by much faster! Sorry you're having to go through this
Guest_kit_kats_mom replied: I agree with Jennas mommy. Try to remember that this is an opportunity to take time to focus on healing yourself. Take time to just relax, maybe work on a gratitude journal or just a regular journal or something, to take your mind off missing your cutie. She will be fine and you may be suprised at how much more fun you two have together after a day apart. I know that K and I really focus on having fun in the evenings on the 2 days a week that she goes to a sitter. I get everything around the house done while she is gone (& usually sneak in a nap too), so that I am refreshed and able to focus on her totally.
Kaitlin'smom replied: awww I am sorry sweetie, I know its hard being away from them but do someting for your self, or if you feel up to it go shopping, maybe you dont buy anthing but get out and look around or maybe you wil get some christmas shopping done. I bet when she gets home you will find your time to be even better with her. Relax and take it easy and work on your self today!
kimberley replied: awww... i know how hard this can be. i could barely bring myself to ever leave the daycare when they were small. just remember, this is some much needed time for yourself and for your little one to interact with other kids. it will get easier... hang in there.
MommyToAshley replied: I am sorry that this is so rough!
I know this must be hard. Maybe you can go do some Christmas shopping, or get your hair done, or do something nice for yourself. It'll make the time go by faster. Hang in there!
chloe&tysmommy replied: I'm so sorry, but like the others said maybe get out of the house and go shopping or something and before you know Claudia will be at home again I agree to spend this time to heal yourself and concentrate on getting better.....big hugs
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Well the day is almost over and she will be home soon! I can't wait to see her! Well I got a lot accomplished today! I pulled out some of the Christmas decorations, straightened up the living room, cleaned out the desk drawer on the computer, washed the dishes and even took a few minutes to enjoy a cup of tea! Thank You everyone for making this day easier for me! You are all so wonderful!
jen replied: YOU made it!!! Congratulations!! I hope each time get easier!!!! Claudia is adorable!!! I haven't had my little girl yet but I can only imagine how hard it is to leave them with anyone. I am glad I will have all of you to vent to!!
CantWait replied: I know it's hard. just try to remember it's the best thing right now. I bet she's going to love being around the other little ones also. Take it easy.
MommyToAshley replied: So glad you made it! And, that we could help a little. I got tired just reading your post, you accomplished a lot! Wanna come to my house tomorrow? Tomorrow, you should do something just for you and don't feel a bit guilty about doing it!
How was it when you picked Claudia up?
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Would you believe when DH picked her up she didn't even want to go home! What a character, but then when they got home she kept saying "Mum mum mum, num num num!" I think she missed me! Also yesterday for lunch they had roast chicken, mashed potatos and peas. Claudia had 2 bowls of that plus 2 pieces of bread, and a 1/2 bowl of jello! I can't believe she ate that much! I feel much better now!
aspenblue1 replied: That's great that she had a good time.
MommyToAshley replied: It sounds like a great place .... glad she liked it. I am sure that makes the whole situation a little better. I bet she loved playing with the other kids too -- I need to find something for Ashley to do with other kids her age.
Sounds like you and Claudia had a great reunion with lots of hugs.
