God news!!

Remember back when I wanted to go private and was hopefully in the doing? Well its come..YEAH!!!! I have been so sick of the agency im with. When i started on they were very supportive and now they have turned my dayhome into thiers and im hired to run it... VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!

They tell us what we have to charge we can not choose that. they take 125 off per child from my pay cheques for thier fees. They gave us a booklet of items we HAVE to get for the dayhome... aside from the common, blocks etc we need they are telling us we HAVE to get a play yard(swing, slide, climbing aparatus), balance beam( yes you heard me right). and from teh little things like blocks. Ok i have duplo blocks that all kids love but because of the vast age groups i dont feel comfortable with legos at this time. But they us we have to get legos, duplos, wooden ones, big foam ones that are bigger the children literally) etc etc etc. We have tpo pick one item and get it per month. Which i agree to BUT when they tell me i have to get a balance beam that cost over 500 bucks i refuse too.

They screnn my calls, they dont give what i need, its just a support that im paying 125 per chidl for that im not getting.

I wanted to go private but just financially wasnt able to. because if im private i cant accept kids that need subsidy, and i get as a provider licensed through an agency governmnet money because i have my level 1. So i get 385 per month plus with every child under 18 months i get 150 per child. if i gp private i dont get that. and that is the money that is holding us afloat right now with how the economy went. Well I have 2 kids in care. a almost 3 year old( will be 3 before i turn private) that doesnt need subsidy soa his parents can afford to keep him with me. I have 2 year old on subsidy but he is EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE so im just going to terminate him anyways. And a mom with 2 children is going to register them with me when i go private. and i have a mom looking at the dayhome next sat and she may register him. So i will have a FULL dayhome!!!!! and make 600 more than if i stayed with the agency and got the gov money. Im so excited ... after July 1st it will be my dayhome, my descions, my policies my everything!!!!!!

But who told you can't take subsidized kids while with the agency? If I remember correctly we were with the same agency, except I was the one that needed care and I was subsidized.

I can't believe how things have changed. My day home had none of that, it was a piece of ****.

No i know you can get subsidy while with an agency. thats the only way you can get subsidy. Im going private so i cant get children who need subsidy:)
