Go, Diego, Go - Dora spin-off
amynicole21 wrote: There's a new cartoon on Noggin called Go, Diego, Go all about Dora's cousin Diego at the animal rescue center. It's pretty cool! He has a rescue pack instead of a backpack and a camera and computer which help him rescue the animals he encounters. Today I saw one where he helped a sloth save another sloth and her baby. I guess they are trying to market it to boys, but Sophia really enjoyed it. Guess there's another character she's going to become obsessed with
luvbug00 replied: Oh that's wonderful!! Glad to hear the cartoons our kids watch are more then supergalatic heros!!
MommyToAshley replied: How cool... Ashley loves to play the Animal Safari game on Sesame Street's website so she'll probably like this show as well. I'll have to see if we can catch it.
A&A'smommy replied: Yeah I saw that I'm NOT thrilled Alyssa already is obsessed with Diego and Dora so i don't know what I'm going to have to do if I have to watch Diego's show too
mummy2girls replied: Oh God... Well at least its educational eh? LOL I look at this way.. at least its not barney...LOL
A&A'smommy replied: LOLOL I agree!!
mckayleesmom replied: OMG.....Dora has a spinoff series??.....My channell is staying away from Noggin. We will stick to PBS...lol
3'smom replied: My kids love Diego. They have the full length cartoons of him to watch on nickjr.
coasterqueen replied: I'll have to look for it. Thank goodness Kylie isn't a huge Dora fan because I can't stand her. It's so BORING, she's so repetitive she drives me looney. But I guess I could stand this new for a little bit.
CantWait replied: That's awesome, I always said Diego should have his own show for boys. Hopefully it will be here in Canada soon.
CantWait replied: OMG Barney is so old, but Anthony LOVES him
TeagansMom609 replied: Teagan likes Dora, but she isn't into Diego...thank God because Dora drives me nuts as it is! Im trying to get her to learn english first, I think hearing spanish at the same time is probably confusing. She LOVES Elmo, Sesame Street, and Blue's Clues.
DblTblDad replied: My kids watched this the other day. I don't mind it but then I never pay attention to what's going on.
3_call_me_mama replied: Cameron loves Diego. He can't wait until it comes out with the daily shows on September 7th. (I think) Cameron carries DH's old palm pilot around for his Filed Journal (Like Diego's) and he's always looking for animals that need help:) It's not nearly as repetitive as Dora and it's mroe about wildlife and animals. HE really likes it. I don't care if they are boring to me or repetitive (i don't watch them, he does:)) and it;s far better than some of the adult based cartoons out there that childrne watch. Several things on Nick Jr are totally un appropriate for kids IMO:)
kimberley replied: omg, i am so Dora'd out!!! lol
3_call_me_mama replied: The good news for those that are Dora'd out.. she's not on his show:) He adn his sister Alicia that do the rescuing:)
ammommy replied: We saw this and I really liked that at the end of the show they did an overview of what was taught. The first one was about sloths and Diego taught 4 facts about them. It's pretty cool.
