Well I have been planning on quitting my job as soon as I can because my boss and her assistant or racist crooks (funny thing is one is white and the other is black so they are racist against each other they are "best friends" to each others faces but they talk about each other behind each others back...)... my boss's assistant is like 40 years old she has three kids and she is the biggest "know-it-all" I have ever met yet she really doesn't know that much!! She treats me like I'm stupid, talks to me like I'm stupid (in a subtle way) and when I go home I go home SOOOO mad I can't stand it. Yet my boss is like 65 over paid for what she does and crook, she is incredibly scatter brained and knows absolutely nothing about technology. So they are ALWAYS asking for my help with their computers which I did NOT mind because 99.9% of the time I could fix their "huge" problem in couple of minutes literally! But then when it comes to anything else her assistant just absolutely makes me feel like I'm stupid. Since this was my first "real" job they usually had to show me what they wanted me to do and how, and they always had to show me ONE time and it wasn't every time that she had to show me and yet she still tried to make me feel stupid.. And in our town EVERYTHING is incredibly political you almost ALWAYS have to KNOW someone to get a job around it’s an absolute miracle when you get a job honestly! And working in a school system with a bunch of woman (no offense) you here SOOOOOO much gossip EVERYONE talks about EVERYONE behind their backs, and it’s VERY cliquish. UGH anyway over the holidays Jeremiah didn't get any time off because he was working on putting up a new network well it took longer than he expected because things kept coming up and this was his first time to do it so I worked some to help him with desktops all I had to do was touch EVERY computer in the network (500+) to put them on the new domain it took a maximum of 5minutes per computer usually it didn't take that long because we didn't do anything else. Well anyway this past Tuesday was the first day back to school so I decided not to go to work because I knew Jeremiah would be extremely busy and I went back Wednesday (he was even more busy) the teachers were FREAKING out over STUPID stuff, everyone thought they were priority no one considered the fact that there is only ONE person doing the job and the fact that 90% of them are computer illiterate. It was just a big mess I can't even explain it and I'm getting off topic anyway. Okay well I went in Wednesday and I didn't get to work until almost 915 so by that time I was being roped back in technology to help them at Westside (the elementary school) and so I went into the trailer to fix my boss's computer and her assistants which there wasn't anything wrong them they just didn't know what to DO to them and how to find all their files OHHHH and my boss couldn't PRINT from her email or receive email that had absolutely NOTHING to do with the network change I KNOW for a fact they were sitting there pitching a fit about how they couldn't use their computers or printers and that the network change was stupid well It took me 5minutes to get their stuff fixed and come to find out it was all user error well that was the icing on the cake so I asked when they were going to need me again and they said there were going to have any "big" projects for a while so I don't "have" to come back for a while SOOO I don't HAVE to quit I just don't have to go back EVER EVER AGAIN.. SOOO I'm a Stay at home mom again. AND I get to work with Jeremiah for 15 dollars and hour whenever.. Well basically whenever I want to because his boss likes me!!!!!! Anyway sorry that got so long If you got that far that’s great if not I don't blame you for not being able to read the whole long boring story

not WHENEVER i want but basicly.. it MIGHT be once or twice a month for a day or so probably only when he needs me

CAMSMOM1 replied: Jessy Ann, I feel ya sweetie. I work in a school district, and I can relate to all the "gossiping". That's why working with women can be so draining...you never know what they are saying behind your back, and can be so critical. I'm glad you don't have to go back there. Sure, they apprieciate you when they need you to fix something for them, but then they belittle you?! No one should have to work in those conditions. By the time your clocking out, your stressed and upset.
So it's great that you can be a SAHM! And make some extra money on the side, working next to your DH. Seems like the best of both worlds!
I believe everything happens for a reason, and I'm glad that you were strong enough to leave, and now you are going to work for someone who really does appreciate you...Alyssa & DH.
