3 months? God grief! Ally is 7 1/2 months old and is nearly 15 pounds. I could't imagine giving birth and putting your baby into 9-12 month clothes!

Kentuckychick replied: This may sound horrible, but I think I'd cry if I had a baby that big (I'm sure I'd be happy he was healthy) but you'd miss out on that entire "tiny snuggly mold into your arms wonder" that comes along with having a new baby.

I held my 9 lb Godson and thought to myself "this kid is huge" so I really can't imagine 15 lbs! My goddaughter is almost 5 months now and only weighs about 12 lbs.

Plus... the pain...

On the upside though, he is beautiful!

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: wow...That is huge. and apparently the biggest baby born to a healthy mother was 22 lbs. that is bigger than my kids at 1 year. heck I would be thrilled if Johnny gained the 6 lbs to get to 15
