Danalana replied: I wasn't a fan of most of his stuff, though he did have a great sense of humor...it's sad he's gone.
TheOaf66 replied: I will miss him, I was a big fan of his comedy, and most of the points he tried to make were dead on true
Crystalina replied: I know the name but I don't think I remember him. Either way it's very sad.
grapfruit replied: Did your kids ever watch Thomas the Train on TV? He was the "Engineer" in the train station.
luvbug00 replied: ahh the big potty mouth, all we small potty mouths wouldn't dare to be. he shall be missed as noone was as blunt as he and i admire that greatly!
gr33n3y3z replied: I liked him to a certain extent but he will be very much so missed
Celestrina replied: He had such an impact on today's comics. The creators of Spongbob even did a shout-out to him. In the episode where SB and Patrick were cussing, Mr. Krabs told them there were 13 words they should never say. Squidward said "I thought there were only seven?" One of Carlin's more famous routines (done during the 70's) were the "Seven words you can never say on tv" Truly hilarious, if you want to see it, you can find it on Youtube. Remember, TONS of foul language, but worth it.
stella6979 replied: OMG, I can't believe you mentioned that episode. We saw it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and were cracking up!!!! I did like Carlin and always enjoyed his comedy. He will be missed.
DVFlyer replied: He was great.
Crystalina replied: .
Yes, they watched Thomas. Evan had Thomas running through his veins about a year ago, but I don't really remember the voice. I'll have to dig out a dvd and see.
grapfruit replied: Ok, Crystal. He's the one in the uniform (obviously) He narrates too.
Mr. Conductor the Movie - Thomas episode
HuskerMom replied: I wasn't a fan but it is sad. He really wasn't that old.
jcc64 replied: I loved him, despite the fact that he kind of stopped being funny in the later years. Nonetheless, I always appreciated his biting social commentary which was, imo, dead on the money every time.
Teesa®© replied: DH and I were driving in the car when we heard. DH almost crashed. We both loved George
mommymommy replied: OMG, I didn't catch the news yesterday ot hear of this..I loved him, he was soo soo funny and unique. How sad
