Yes...when I was 17...I worked at a gas station till 2001 and it was still 96 cents.....I remember when I had a 14 gallon tank on my new Pontiac Sunfire and it cost me less then 14 dollars to fill it up....

mom2my2cuties replied: We paid around $2.45 when we filled up several days ago..But I think it's lower than that now...i will have to ask my husband. If it were up to me, I would end up running out gas, I always forget to fill up


I think the last time I saw $0.89 cents was around 2000 it was at this little college gas station - I always filled up there because it never failed that it was $0.10 cheaper than in my hometown 17 miles away.

Prices keep coming down!

I remember gas being @ $.99 9/10 for the longest when I was growing up. I never could not figure out the 9/10 part though.
