2. Which best describes you and your DH/DW/SO? Birds of a feather We do alot of things together, we work together, etc, etc....but that one is a toughie because we are also different in some areas too......

madaise replied: 1. Where did you meet your DH/DW/SO? My xh used to work with him. When my x and I split up, my x moved in with my current dh.... my current dh asked my x if he could ask me out (to a Lyle Lovett concert) and the rest is history.
2. Which best describes you and your DH/DW/SO? Birds of a feather Opposites attract I'd say we are more birds... but we definitely have our opposites.
3. Hot Fudge sundae or Bowl of Fruit? depends maybe on the time of the month? or the weather?.. I could very easily go either way.

Opposites attract - I'm type B, he's type A; He's a neat-nick, I can let things like toy clutter slide until the end of the day (though he has gotten a lot better over the years with this).
Hot fudge sundae
I'm a Huggies mommy When ds#1 was a baby, Huggies had the cloth-like diaper and Pampers was plastic. But now I buy White Cloud from Walmart and they work just as well, if not better and are soooooooo much cheaper!

MommyToAshley replied: I was an army bratt growing up, does that count? LOL
CantWait replied: sure does, I'm sure you know just as well what we military wives go through with hubbies going away.
As I'm sure your dad/mom did
MommyToAshley replied: Yes, but I am sure it is different when you are pregnant and/or have kids of your own. It must be hard being away from your family at a time like that... just another reason to honor the people serving our country! I need a patriotic smilie for this post.
TLCDad..go find us some patriotic smilies.
CantWait replied: yes it is very hard. My hubby has already been away on 2 UN/NATO tours. One consisting of being gone for 6 months, the other for 7 months. He's also been gone several other times for long spans of time for training and whatever. Two months (not even) after our next one is due he will have to go away for another 6 months. It certainly isn't fun, however there is one plus. There's great nookie when he gets home LOL.
MommyToAshley replied: There's always a bright side to things!
CantWait replied: LOL that's all I have to say to that!!!!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: I met my DH when I was 12, he was 14. Our parents both camped out during the summer in their trailers, in a vacation park. Our trailers were next to each other, and our parents met through chuch previously, and though since we were both quiet kids, we would have no issues with each other. We actually *met* by a lake, during a swiming contest. I was sitting down, with my feet in the water, and him and his mom came up behind me, and she introduced us. My first look at him was upwards, and he had the sun behind him, so I didn,t see his face right away, because of the glare. I fell in love, and later on, told my mom I'd marry him someday. Of course, the next summer, we met up again, and hung out all summer. The next year, we hung out during the whole year, rather than jsut the summer. When I was 15 and him 17, we were watching a movie in his trailer, and he kissed my forehead. We went for a walk, and he told me he wasn't ready for a serious girlfriend, and that I could ounch him if I wanted.... lol
So he broke my heart, we lost touch, I started dating my Ex, DH and I met up again, we hung out all the time, then we arrived where we are today!
**************
