Funny prom stories - anybody got any?

As a sophomore, I was asked to prom by a friend who was a junior. At almost the exact same time, a senior asked me out, and we started dating. I assumed the junior had asked me to prom on an "as friends" kind of thing, so I didn't think it was that big a deal. Turns out, oblivious as I usually am, I was wrong. (I didn't find that out until AFTER the prom, though.) She was totally into me, and was humiliated that I was making out with someone else in the halls the weeks before the prom.

On top of all that, the night of the prom I got violently ill right after dinner, vomiting all over the street in front of Phillip's in the Harborplace of Baltimore, spent much of the prom in the bathroom puking my guts out. The time I wasn't in the bathroom I wasn't that fun either, because I developed a tear in one of my contacts, and I had stabbing pain in my eye, with tears streaming down my face most of the night. (I couldn't take them out, because I didn't have my glasses, and I'm blind without them). After the prom, I pretty much passed out. Not a fun night.

Needless to say, my junior and senior years I went to a concert the night of prom.


This one isn't mine....I just found it online. I thought it was funny because my first reaction when he said he was ill was that the girl who had a crush on him probably poisoned him with something for being stupid.

My senior prom...I was dating a guy who was already in college and shocked that he was willing to go to my prom so I wanted it to be perfect. I tore a lense while I was getting ready but I HATED the glasses I had at the time, so I only wore one. I was getting by ok but started getting a terrible headache so I went to the bathroom to take out the one lense I had in and when I came out, I couldn't find my date anywhere. I wandered around for about 30 minutes before he finally found me, he'd been standing outside the bathroom talking to someone with his back towards me and I completely walked right by him He was right where I left him when I went in the bathroom

luvbug00 replied: i went jr year ( well , my first junior year.) and my dad and i screamed at eachother the entire time about how to get there..I was right. His name was oscar so the etire night to tick him off i called him "oscar myer wiener" because he was being a ....well you get the idea.

mckayleesmom replied: My boyfriend tried to back out of going 2 weeks before prom...INSERT NOT SO NICE WORD HERE.

I had my dress custom made and everything. I finally convinced him to go. I should have dumped him right there and went stag.

Same thing happened to me. His dad chewed his butt out and said, "you ARE taking that girl to the prom!" I always loved his dad!

paradisemommy replied: I was so not a "school spirit" girl - my hs bf was 2 years older than me so him and i made our appearance at the dance then had gotten a hotel room and we played electronic battleship all night..well maybe not ALL night..

TANNER'S MOM replied: Well this was Brittany's story but I thought it was funny.

At prom they went to a friends house that was Asian. The family had all the kids pay $10.00 and the Mom and Dad were the waiter and waitresses and the kids loved it. It wasn't expensive for everyone etc.

Well Brittany being Brittany is naive.

They all got fortune cookies. The all read their fortunes and after words said IN BED.. and Brittany said she just read hers like 3 times and then finally looked at the guy beside her and said why does everyone's say IN BED and mine doesn't??

She said everyone turned and looked at her and died laughing..and her face was so red.

OH yeah..she will kill me for this one. Before prom she had the worse case of the runs. I mean explosive diaherra..lol She took so much pepto, anti diaherra pills. She was worried to death about an accident. And you know she couldn't wear undies b/c of the whole panty line thing..Well in the middle of Prom Dh texts her and asked if she was ready for DEPENDS yet..and lets just say some one else read her text and she wanted to kill him!!!

I only went to one prom But it was pretty uneventful.

The only thing that happened was my boyfriend (the one before Tim) and I worked at Quality Farm and Fleet (they're defunk now, but think Tractor Supply). It was like 2 weeks before prom (if that) and the night he was suppose to meet my mom (after work). The manager on duty had him breaking up skids to go into the dumpster, w/a sledge hammer. (can you see where this is going?)

Well sometimes, wood aparently acts like a spring board. He swung down to smash a skid, well the wood didn't break. Instead it bounced the sledge hammer back up into his 2 front teeth. Yup, they broke. It looked awful. He was so mad, not upset, MAD! Needless to say, he didn't go to my mom's that night.

He had "fake" temporary ones by prom, but they LOOKED fake. He said they looked like chicklets. I don't know what they were made of, but he smoked, and by the time his "permant" ones came in they were stained yellow.

I've heard he has broken them out since we broke up. Drunk, fighting w/the sidewalk. Sidewalk whipped his butt!

Actually,, I guess that would be considered a sad prom story.

My2Beauties replied: My boyfriend at the time dumped like 3 weeks before junior prom. I finally talked him into going but the whole night was absolutely so awkward. Nothing really funny happened at my prom.
