Free Anti Virus Software

Thanks..I just needed something temporary. Our Norton expired the other day and today I was getting some virus alerts. I downloaded the AVG and dh said that when he gets home tonight we can donate the one the military uses online for free.

DVFlyer replied: All of the ones mentioned above are the typical free programs recommended by most people. They are reliable, relatively secure (nothing is fool-proof) and best of all FREE.

A&A'smommy replied: AVG is the best my husband puts it on all the computers that he works on (I'm not sure about the school computers I think he might have something else that goes over the network)

I also hate Norton. Had nothing but problems with it.

mckayleesmom replied: Norton came already installe on our computer....That is why it was on there. It is annoying. It finally an out and I wanted something different.

I downloaded the avg and now my yahoo messenger doesn't work.. I think it might be because of the firewall, but I can't get it to open to let me fix the settings.
