Freaking - Police, dogs, helicopters

CantWait wrote: Ok so the police chopper is always flying around my area, but last night was totally different. Just after I went to bed I see lights going on and off, I was like WT*. I got up to see who was flashing their light. Well when I got up I saw three dark shadows (figures) snopping around the house behind me. I thought they were trying to break in or something, untill I saw a dog with them leading them ohmy.gif Then I saw the flashlights, and the chopper came down with the flood light, oh gosh. Then they were snooping (searching around my yard, and in my shed), etc......This area is getting so bad. It was just way to close to home this time, and I still don't know what they were or who they were searching for.

punkeemunkee'smom replied: ohmy.gif Yikes I would have been scared! You should be able to call your local police department on monday and ask what they were doing and if there is something you should be looking out for. You can also request an officer to drive by your house at night just to establish police presence. Hope it gets better soon!

coasterqueen replied: OMG! ohmy.gif I would have been freaking out! Was your DH home? Since Dh left I hear the littlest noises that freak me out...that would have sent me running for my parents house. happy.gif

CantWait replied:
Nope dh is currently serving overseas in Afghanistan and won't be home till end of February. dry.gif

sunshine girls replied: your poor thing, that would've been so scary. Do you know what they were doing? I used to live in a fairly bad part of L.A, and police would always be around because so many people would have domestic arguments or be making drugs. We live in a better neighbourhood now, but the littlest things scare me.
Hopefully that never happens again, I would've freaked out.. hug.gif

CantWait replied:
Nope I don't.

Nathansmom replied: That is so scary! I asked DH too, neither of us read or heard anything.

ions_momma replied: That is so scary! I would definately call your police station on Monday to find out what was going on since it was in your backyard, you surely have the right to know. How scary!! hug.gif hug.gif

A&A'smommy replied: OMG that is SO scary!!! hug.gif

party-of-six replied: YIKES! ohmy.gif

Personally, I would not wait until Monday....I would call dept now and find out what was going on.
In my neighborhood, if I saw something like that, I would have gone out and asked them what was going on...LOL. I could not have stood not knowing what was happening in obviously my own back yard.

gr33n3y3z replied: I would at least call them to keep an eye out on your house while your hubby is away since all that went on behind your house and in your yard.
