Freaked out

WELL... I picked up the foamy thing to put in her tub and noticed these black things on it. I was like WTH??? Well I got to looking closer that they moved. They looked like little leaches. I freaked and called Shawn up the stairs. I know he probably thought a crazy woman had been let loose in his house. Well I was showing him these "things" and I was like WTH do you think they are. (Not to mention I said some other bad words, which I'm going to have to learn to control or else Annika is going to repeat them. ) Well neither one of us know what they are. I have looked online and can't find anything. The thing that is going through my mind is: Is this crap in our water system? I mean where else would they come from. DH took the stupid thing outside. This morning they were dead. I'm wondering if there is like someone I can take them to that can ident them....

Needless to say I had the heebie geebies for the rest of the night....

NEWMOM05 replied: OMG, That's so freaky. My skin is crawling just thinking about it. Try calling the Health Department. Not really sure, but it's worth a shot. Now,I'm freaking out. Gross.

We have a group in NYS called 'Cooperative Extension'. They will identify bugs, plants and other such things. But the health deptartment should be a good bet too.

My2Beauties replied: Eeeew I would be freaking out myself. You know what they could be though and we have gotten these in our house, little gnats. I have no idea where they come from or how they get there, but we had them in our hosue one morning in the corner of our bathroom when we woke up. Wesprayed some bug spray right on that spot and they never came back BUt I would still have the health department check it out. That is really scary!
