Frankie & I took a shower together... - Was so special!

We both needed a bath... So for the first time ever, I took a shower with my son. At almost 3 months old, he LOVED it. My wife and I couldnt get over how happy he was. At first, I wasnt big on bathing with my son. I just felt uncomfortable with it. But I was wrong... it was the most beautiful experiance ever... Plus we both got clean!!!

Then mommy fed him correctly and he passed out at 9PM !!!

I love being a dad!

My DH didnt bath with his daughter ever..him and ex wasn't comfortable with it..

But with Tanner he did alot..and I did too.. Saved time !!

And I remember the feeling of the baby laying against my skin as I speak...

I bathed with all of mine..and they have all bathed together at some point.

I can remember one day it was sooooo hot outside and we have a big garden tub. We got in our underwear and all 6 of us were in it.. It wasn't quite that big.. But we had bubbles and it was sooooo fun!

moped replied: Ahhh that sounds nice - Tom used to take Jack in the shower but he is a squirmy worm and hard to hold on to - so now I just bath with him!

Oh yeah, if he likes water like m daughter Blakely then he will LOVE going in the pool. Blakely and I are in a class, we get to get in the pool with other parents and their babies, and she loves that!

My2Beauties replied: Awww that is so cute !I take baths with Hanna sometimes, she likes it! BUt she likes to pee in the water so um...I don't do it that often Oh yeah Hanna loves the pool too, so Frankie sounds like he will!

3_call_me_mama replied: That's awsome. DH showers with Kathleen allthe time she loves the water, Camen use dto when he was littl ebut not anymore afraid of the spray. I can't cause they are too slippery for me to hold! But on the RARE occassion that i get a lengthy bath they hop in.

I had to take a quick shower with my youngest last week (she's 2 1/2) and get this... SHE LAUGHED AT ME and got the giggles from hades. Yep, ya read right. Picture this...

Uncomfortable mommy, ready to play in water toddler... Toddler gets in first whilst mommy tries to undress before toddler eats the bar of soap... mommy gets in... toddler POINTS at what makes mommy, well, mommy... and just starts laughing her rump off! ROFL! I did not know WHAT to do! I diverted her eyes to my feet and she spent way too much time washing my feet for me, how sweet is that? Unfortunately, my sweet toddler decided that since I clean her butt, she'd return the favor. I jumped like a scalded dog! Straight outta that shower to dress I did tell her "thank you" though.

beckamouse replied: lately since maggie j has been playing a whole lot more i usually hop in the tub or the shower with her and she loves it. we take turns playing splashy-splashy and she giggles when she gets soaped up because i do it light enough to tickle her.

she hates getting rinsed off though because usually a minute or two later its out of the tub and she'd rather live in the water i think. great for me because sometimes i feel the same way.
