Formula Help Needed!! - Sister really needing help right now!!

momofone replied: also toyrus has a rewards program they send me $5 coupons alot. they sell formula.

HollandMom09 replied: Thanks for the replies!! She is currently on a 7 week waiting list for her 1st WIC appt where she finds out if she qualifies or not (she has 5 weeks to go). The local WIC office is so backed up due to the economy here in Michigan they said they are getting 40-50% higher intake volumes as they seen at this time last year. So anyways that is the WIC.

As for the companies she has signed up but hasn't gotten anything from either of them in over 2 months now so I don't know what the deal is with that. I am not sure if she should try again or if they just only send them every few months or what.

Thanks for the info on ToysRus but we no longer have one anywhere near us. The closest one is about 40 minutes away. They closed ours down about 4 years ago which completely stinks but oh well what can you do

luvmykids replied: She can also call her pediatricians office or the hospital, they've have tons of samples and are usually more than happy to help out that way.

I was going to say that, my ped's office gave me like 5 or 6 cans when I went to well baby visits, if you call i'm sure they would help out

HollandMom09 replied: Ok just a quick note letting everyone know we are still looking and hoping someone might see this and have some lying around. She has started calling places in the area but with the holiday weekend she hasn't heard much and hopefully will on Tuesday. She will continue to need these even after WIC is hopefully started (5 more weeks till appointment) because as we were told most babies use more than they give every month so that X2 will still be adding up. She has of course signed up with the formula companies but hasn't gotten anything lately so she also has it on her list to call them next week so inquire as to why she hasn't gotten anything lately.

So anyways we are still looking so if you have any you won't be needing please let me know via PM or kjb1977@live.com and I am more than happy to send a SASE for them so you can save the postage
