For cryin out loud.....

I hadn't wanted to say anything in fron of DH' sparents, but I had been havinbg pretty regular tiny contractions, about 7 minutes apart. So when we lefdt, I told him that I wanted to call the hospital when we got home, to see if we should go in. It's only about 10 minutes away anyways... lol So we get home, I call the hospital, and tell them the details, which were that I was a couple days overdue, and I was 4cm dilated as of my last appointment, and I had been having pretty small contractions about 7 minutes aprt for about 1 hour. She told me I could go in for an evaluation, so we did. Zach was sleeping over at Grandmas' anyways, since we were going back there for Breakfast this morning.

So we go in, and the nurse hooks me up to the fetal monitor or whatever, so that they could monitor heartrate and movement and contractions and all that fun stuff. Of course, as soon as we get there, the contractions were almost nothing... but they still showed up. She left me on the monitor for 40 minutes instead of 20, just to make sure... and by the last 20 minutes, they were strong enough to make me go still...lol

So she sends me back to the Emergency entrance (1st floor, maternity is on 2nd floor, there was noone around..it was like 3 in the morning... lol) to get a card, since i left mine somewhere and didn't know where it is... and she said she'd call the doctor in the meantime. So DH and I are all excited, we're thinking we're hjaving a baby tonight!! So we get back to maternity, and the nurse told us that she called the doctor, and that he told us we could go back home and to come back if the contractions got a lot stronger, or if my water breaks.

So we came home, and we went to bed. This morning, NOTHING!!!!!!
