Hillbilly Housewife wrote: I've been chowing down all DAY!
So far I've had:
--Raisin bagel with cream cheese (and lots of it...) --1 grapefruit --1 small banana --about 17 canapé melba toast (they're bite sized, with cream cheese spread on them) --1 12 ounce coffee (bavarian chocolate...one of my faves!!) --1 small nectarine --2 chocolate chip cream cookies --I'm eying my other 2 cookies, and my pouch of instant oatmeal
Mmmmmmmmmmm........I LOVE food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: I should mention that I've been taking a bite of something every 20 minutes or so....... lol
amynicole21 replied: Sounds like health food to me
catou_98 replied: I was like that preggo, couldn't stop eating! I still am like that althout it's not as bad as it was!
supermom replied: With both boys I was like that, I could eat, and eat, and eat, and eat and then eat some more. When I was pg with the girls I was sick and didn't feel like eating. We'll just have to wait to see if that holds true with this one....lol.....(I was sick the first 4 1/2 months)
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Hmmm! With Zach I craved Big Mac's and Salt and Vinegar chips all the time. Now I still crave Vinegar now and then.....but I've been mostly eating fruit.
Wonder if that means it's a girl? lol
Mom2_my3boys replied: I have been really hungry lately, but can't seem to find what I'm craving! Whatever I eat it doesn't satisfy me. Any suggestions? I have tried several different kinds of food but nothing hits that spot!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: When that happens.... I eat something with contrasting tastes... such as:
-Celery with Peanut butter, or cheeze whiz (light) -Apple slices with cheese slices (yes, together in your mouth) -Chocolate covered peanuts or chocolate covered pretzels -A toasted pickle and cheese sandwich -An egg and cheese sandwich, with mayo and a little bit of jam -Have some melted chocolate...and dip some cheese in it -Salad with some canned tuna, and mandarines, with a tangy/hot dressing...yum!
Anything sound good?
Mom2_my3boys replied: Apples and Cheese!! I have never heard of that combination! I do have to say though, the celery and peanut butter sound great. Also the egg and cheese w/ mayo sounds good. Too bad I have no celery, and just used the last of the cheese at lunchtime! Darn it! Thanks for the ideas!
Cheese dipped in chocolate????
Hillbilly Housewife replied:
Absolutely!
dolfinrse replied: I thought that was gross too, until a girl I used to work with had me try it and boy was it good!!!!
supermom replied: There was an old (VERY old) quote that used to go:
"Apple pie without some cheese is like a kiss without a squeeze"
Yeppers, apples and cheese together is yummy....especially sharp cheddar, melted just slightly by the warm pie - oh, now I am going to have to go and find something to eat - teehee
Not too sure about the chocolate and cheese though - teehee -
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Well...Surely you've heard of Chocolate Cheesecake??
ediep replied: Chedder cheese with a granny smith apple is very good ....I don't think I would enjoy the apple pie with cheese or the chocolate with cheese though. I craved cheese and cheesy food when I was pregnant with Jason.
