Flower Power - I need some help
MoonMama wrote: My little sister is an amazing writer among her many other talents. Anyway she is trying to get into a creative writing summer program. She has to submit a 70 page story as part of her application, peice of cake for he but I could never do it.
She wont tell me what her idea is but she wants the kids in the story to have VERY "hippie, 70's, hug a tree names". She is stuck on names for both boys and girls that are really 'hippie-ish". She called and asked me but all I can think of is Harmony, Sunshine, I just don't know. And my mom is drawing a blank too. Anyone have thoughts? TIA
Danalana replied: Willow is a good one.
luvmykids replied: I have a neice (sort of, step BIL's daughter) named Aurora, they call her Aura for short I always think of a flower child.
Names of flowers that aren't common as a first name, like Lilac maybe? Star? Um, I'm going blank too. Solstice for a boy? Rainbow or Rain?
amymom replied: Moon-zappa Moon-dog Andromeda Starr-Anne Starr September Heart
hawkshoe replied: We used to tease a friend of mine who was hippiish. We gave her the name "Tapestry".
