Flat Tire

C&K*s Mommie replied: I hear ya! We do not have Onstar on our vehicles, but we have roadside with our cell-phones; the kind of assistance that follows your phone and not the car. Which gives me peace of mind, because I have had to use it a few times.

Glad you did not have much further to travel, when you had the flat.

MamaJAM replied: BTDT...too recently! I had a double-flat not too long ago....thank goodness for AAA (I have OnStar too...and completely forgot about it ). Thankfully only one of my tires was a complete flat - so the guy knew where to put the spare...but I had to get both fixed.

Is it possible for you to have the tires patched and not have to replace them? I hope so.

Boys r us replied: Ohhh No!! Sorry for your bad luck with the flat!!! I can so relate, I had 3 flat tires in less than 6 months last year!! I was CURSED!

But, yes..I'm glad you had OnStar!! I had Husband Star!! HAAA

nope with the gash not possible, I was told it could have been a blow out.

Oh - sorry to hear that! My complete flat actually did blow on the highway -- by some miracle I held it out to my destination (without killing my van).

Hopefully you can find a good deal on tires.

Kaitlin'smom replied: Well I got one new tire and will get the other one when they get more. I had NO clue it woudl be so hard to find one in stock, almost everyplace I called either did not carry them or coudl get them the next day. DH was driving around to diferent places and I called. I finally found some one mind you it was just after 6p and they closed at 6:30p they were so NICE they deffinalty earned my business. Unfortuannly they only had one in stock but thats all I need ATM.

C&K*s Mommie replied: glad you got it taken care of, and they were gracious enough to do it for you near closing time (people tend to be antsy and agitated when it nears closing time) I am glad they also had it in stock, too.

yep the guy was sooo nice and helpful that they deffinaly got my business. DH needs 2 tires on the truck so we will deffinalty get them there.
