First slumber party - So much FUN!

First, DH and his buddy and Colt ganged up on us, so there started all the old school pranks, elaborate tricks to get one group out of the house and lock them out, short sheeting beds, cups of water on top of the doors, etc. Even Macie & Bogie were in on it!

Then I stayed up until 2 with the girls, I had bought them a slumber party journal thing where they asked each other all these questions and wrote down the answers, one was something about "Who's style do you most try to copy?" and stepd said ..... ME! Which made me feel great, to think to tweens think I'm cool. Then they painted my nails, blue with pink polka dots and we ate popcorn and watched Raven till I couldn't help it and had to go to bed. Oh, and DH fell asleep on the couch so we gave him a makeover

I met the friends mom today, she was really nice and now I feel stupid for having been offended at her precautions.

I'd have to agree with the tweens, you're pretty darn cool in my book! How fun, I bet it brought back all the memories of being a young tween again.

Your stepd really admires you. All the things she says about you, it's so sweet.

The short sheeting the beds, got me rolling! I remember those pranks. What did DH think of his makeover?

He was a little mad, I probably took it too far when I started plucking his eyebrows But we took pics on my phone and told him if he wanted to be mad we may as well go all the way and do something with them .....So he dropped it and locked himself in the bedroom.

The funniest part was when the guys had put cups of water on the doors, you know so when someone opens the door the cup falls and gets them wet? Well Bogie is the one who got the worst of it, so we pretended we didn't know yet and conned the guys all into the hall and on the count of 3 we each shoved them into a door with a cup of water so it got them instead of us
