First Day of Radiation

He's also still eating, not drinking as much as he should be, but he is drinking. We are hoping that he will not have to be put on TPN (basically he would be feed through his IV). The doctors have rounds today so we'll see what they say.

It's all just so positive, that I just don't want to get my hopes up! He's doing so well, better than expected! Wouldn't it be wonderful if we didn't have to stay as long as they first had anticipated!

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Thanks everyone! He is starting to feel a little nausuas from the Radiation, but handling it very well! They are putting him on TPN tomorrow, although he is still continuing to eat.

MommyToAshley replied: Poor guy, he is such a trooper. I am glad he is continuing to eat. I am sure the extra nutrients are good for him. I hope the TPN doesn't have to stay in long.
