Feeling kinda dumpy....
kayla's mama wrote: I just got a call saying that I didn't get the job that I interviewed for yesterday. WTH, how hard is it to answer phones all day, even with out experience. It has me feeling dumpy. I feel that no matter how hard I try I can't find a job. I want to get out of my box and try something new. You can only be a bank teller for so long. Guess I'll be going back to that , if someone will hire me. Enough of my pity party
luvmykids replied: I'm sorry. Hang in there, it just means there's something better!
amymom replied: Oh I am so sorry!
punkeemunkee'smom replied: I am sorry! I hope you find something you enjoy!
C&K*s Mommie replied: I am sure that it is not what you want to hear~ but there is something that you were meant to have out there waiting for the right time for you to take it!
MamaJAM replied: I'm sorry you didn't get that job. Good luck with your continued search.
fashionmumofboys replied: Sorry you didn't get that job.
Good luck in the upcoming interviews.
coasterqueen replied: I've noticed that if employers know that you have a young one and there are any other candidates that compare well to you, they'll pick the one without the "baggage". Maybe that's all that happened, maybe it wasn't anything to really do with you. I know that's not comforting but I know it happens alot, unfortunately. It's not right, but it happens.
A&A'smommy replied: I'm sorry hun!!!
kit_kats_mom replied: Check with a local temp agency. Maybe you could just temp in some different places to find what you like best. I've been with Adecco for 3 years. If your DH's work takes care of the insurance, it's a good deal.
kayla's mama replied: Thanks guys Ya'll are so supportive.
3xsthefun replied: I'm so sorry.
CosmetologyMommy replied: U will find something just keep on trucking!
MelanieUK replied: Try not to let it get you down. I was made redundant after 11 years when I was pregnant. I was offered another job but took the good deal they were offering. I'm taking time out with my children, however will need to look for a new job at the end of the year and I'm so nervous already about it.
luvmykids replied: Thats a great idea. I used to work for one and it actually gave me some flexibility between assignments and I racked up some good experience in different positions.
