Favorite diapers?
Danalana wrote: Disposable ones, that is...
I have been using Huggies and I really like them, but I have just switched to Pampers Swaddlers and they are awesome...so soft! I'm thinking we will stay with these What's your favorite?
mckayleesmom replied: The cheap ones...
mommy~to~a~bunch replied: CLOTH!! Prefolds, to be specific, with fitteds & wool a close second.
Danalana replied: I was looking at cloth before, but Dh was pretty against it. He just didn't like the idea of having to wash poopy diapers where our other clothes go. It's not like I was dead-set against disposable, so it works out. I did find some really cute cloth ones though (the covers, anyway).
AlexsPajamaMama replied: I think I liked Pampers over Huggies too and if I remember correctly we used them for a while when he was itty bitty...but we used the cheap ones more when he got older.
BAC'sMom replied: Drypers! They are alcohol free, perfume free, hypoallergenic and latex free.
Loved them
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I kept Logan in huggies because the fragrance in all the other diapers made his little bum break out.
Jamison'smama replied: Jamison wore Pampers Swaddlers most of the time---Jack fit better in the Huggies Supreme.
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: totally depends on the kid
aty was best in Huggies as a small baby then Pampers Cruisers as a toddler...I think she might have gone back to huggies....but not sure Matt was best in Pampers swaddlers then cruisers and not too long before he PT'd Costco came out with their brand diapers. that brand was great for him. Johnny...well none for long or else he breaks out...and the environmentally friendly ones make him break out waaaay worse but...we use the costco ones when he is in disposables.
:.Mrs_Mommy.: replied: All of my kids were in Huggies Newborn until they outgrew them then they were in Luvs. They worked best and they had Barney on them so the kids loved em
DillsMommy replied: I like Pampers diapers, but Huggies wipes.
moped replied: Well I have been using Huggies, but with Jack I always used Pampers Swaddlers.....so I like both really.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Pampers were always my favorite, too (for Ethan). I even like the Pampers Easy Ups better than the Pull Ups.
But, for Maddie Luvs worked best.
paradisemommy replied: with taven we used huggies cruisers but with skyler we used huggies with the giggleastic..but have been using the costco brand and loving them!!
Crystalina replied: The whole Pampers line is what I used. Well, not the swaddlers. Those didn't come out until after Evan was out of the swaddling stage. If they were out before then I never saw them.
Oh and when I'm broke...whatever.
Boo&BugsMom replied: LUVS, hands down. I never have had any leaking issues with them with either of the boys, and I don't have to saw an arm off when I have to buy more. They now have stretchy sides now too, which they didn't before when Tanner was small (that was my only complaint about them). I can't stand the thought of paying the cost of what Pampers or Huggies cost. It's bad enough I have to use nightime Huggies on Aiden, which are $20 a pack. Luvs is what I've always sworn on. For wipes I get the Walmart brand Parent's Choice.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Just wanted to say that I'm sorry I missed the birth of your baby! Congratulations, he's just absolutely beautiful!
~Roo'sMama~ replied: My favorites are Huggies Supreme. They're so soft and really cute. We just buy the regular huggies though because they're cheaper. I used Pampers Swaddlers when Andrew was a newborn too - I loved them! They changed them a couple months after he was born though and I didn't like the new texture as much so I went to huggies - regular pampers at that time weren't very nice I thought, but we tried them recently on Andrew and I like them better now. They sagged on him too much though so we went back to huggies.
Even the cheap ones have gotten so much better in the past year. We've used both Luvs and White Cloud and they work fine. I don't recommend Parent's Choice though, and I'm not fond of Target brand either.
5littleladies replied: I prefer Huggies, but for financial reasons we just use Target ones which work just fine for us. And we use Target wipes too.
Sam & Abby's Mom replied: With Sammy, it was all Pampers. Nothing else seemed to fit him as well. With Abby, we used Pamper swaddlers, then huggies, and currently Luvs.
youngmomofone replied: I liked using huggies supreme with dd. Pampers swadlers didnt come out until she was just about too big to use them, so she only wore a few pair, and they were great as well.
Jackie012007 replied: honestly, it is so not as bad as I thought. We just switched Carly to cloth - and the minute I put her first CD on her, she had explosive diahrea, lol. You can get a sprayer for your toilet, it's just like the sink sprayer. You just rinse it off. I then soak mine in my bathroom sink in hot water with a little vinegar and oxy booster. Then when I do laundry, I put them in with Carly's laundry, use a natural, lightly scented detergent, a cup of vinegar and a scoop of oxy booster. I was kinda turned off of CD but now that I am doing it, it's sooo easy and the diapers are so gosh darn cute!!
When Carly was born, we used Pampers Swaddlers. Those were my all-time favorite! Then we tried the cheapies for a while (ugh), then Luvs and now we a splitting CD and Luvs until the AIOs I ordered and the CDs that Mollie is sending me (thank you!! ) come.
austins mom replied: Pampers is all I ever used.
mommy~to~a~bunch replied: You're welcome Jackie!
CDing isn't as bad most people think; most have a biased opinion against them when they have never even tried it. It's easy, good for the earth, and good for my babies' bottoms. I'd rather have a soft, organic fabric next to them than plastics & chemicals.
My2Beauties replied: I love the Swaddlers when they are newborn like that, especially for the umbilical cord cut-out. As both mine grew out of the newborn stage I moved on to Pampers Baby Dry....awesome, never ever leaked. I've tried both Huggies and Luvs and they both leaked with my kids.
lisar replied: I used huggies on Lexi and Pampers on Raygen.
