Maddie&EthansMom replied: The kids want to get him a laptop. That's not happening. So, I'm going to have his favorite picture of the kids printed on stretched canvas. It's one of the pics I took back in March.

His birthday is this Sunday. Maddie's was Monday. It's an expensive month for us.

stella6979 replied: We don't do gifts, we just make it a day that we all spend together. Go the park, the zoo, out to dinner and maybe rent a movie and eat popcorn.

DH wants an ipod, he's never had one of his own just stolen mine But he REALLY needs clothes, so thats probably what he'll get. We always give him his choice of what we do that day, we'll probably be watching the US Open

Dh told me not to get him anything but I have to. He likes to smoke cigars once in a while so I'll probably just get him a few of his favorites.

coasterqueen replied: We spent a little more than we originally do, but have been wanting to get this for some time. We got Dh a bike, the attachment bike for Kylie to ride and a bike trailer for Megan. We gave it to him early (yesterday). He was so surprised and happy!!!

punkeemunkee'smom replied: Bill is getting a pair of Mooremaker fencing pliers and a single blade knife that he saw on the web-site and liked. It was what he asked for as a birthday gift but since Father's Day came first and I am really bad about keeping gifts a secret he will get them on Sunday

my2monkeyboys replied: I think I'm going to order DH an Allen Brothers steak set. It'll set me back about $100, but if they're any where near as good as they say they are it'll worth it. He's a real steak and beer kind of guy, so I know he'd love them.
