FINALLY Nora's starting to feel better
amynicole21 wrote: After 2 weeks of fevers, I guess we finally found the right antibiotic. She hasn't had a fever in 2 days, but she's coughing up lots of icky stuff which also makes her vomit occasionally. Plus, the antibiotic gives her diarrhea and she has a nasty painful diaper rash (either from the pooping or it's yeast from the meds). Poor kid. She hasn't had a fully healthy day for over a month.
Anyway, at least we didn't have to admit her to the hospital. We were really close a couple of times. Thanks for the healing vibes everyone sent!!
kit_kats_mom replied: man, those diaper rashes are the worst. You can get some lactobacillus to sprinkle on her food that may help. Also, I'm telling you..Dr Smiths Diaper ointment is the only thing that worked for L's antibiotic rashes.
Big hugs and all better in time for christmas vibes.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Awwww poor girl! I hope she feels better real soon!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Whew! I'm so glad the fevers are gone. They can be so scary!!
We use Dr Smith's for diaper rashes, too. Also, the pharmacy can sometimes mix a compound that works great! I hope it goes away soon.
Thanks for the update...I asked about her in your picture thread.
PrairieMom replied: I am so glad they finally found something that works for you. Poor thing. She has been sick for to long.
