I dont' know if anyone has heard of Morgan Nick..she is a little girl who was abducited a years ago from a baseball field.

Her mother Collen started the Morgan Nick foundation and the " amber " alert for missing children.. It is a great program.

Well Extreme Home Make Over has came to build her a new home. They have recruited every construction worker in NW Arkansas to help.

Dh's work donated 100 grand and the community is soo excited. Watch for us on TV.

TANNER'S MOM replied: I am not sure when they will "move that Bus" but I will find out..

I don't know if I will make it...

They gave people at Randy's work a day off to volunteer...but since he got promoted he was the one who had to stay..

DVFlyer replied: The EHM people give these deserving people and unbelievable gift. To see the look on the faces of the reciepients when they see their new home is definitely a teary eyed moment.

Mommy2BAK replied: Yes it is a wonderful thing! My mom has been out there volunteering. I would go, but they are actually having to turn people away because they have so many volunteers, isn't that wonderful?!? Collen Nick raises her children all alone in her home, so has no money to take care of her house because she gives all her money to help causes and bring her daughter Morgan home. BTW~ Morgan has been missing for 10 years now.

My2Beauties replied:
I just visisted her website and it made me get tears in my eyes, I could not imagine how her poor family is feeling!

Sometimes I feel nice people finish last and it is nice to see deserving families get something nice done for them. It also makes me appreciate what I do have. It must have been so exciting to see them. I cry almost every week too. It is something my daughter and I watch together although at the end she always ask why we can't get a new house but it is nice to show her people helping people. Can't wait to see it. biggrin.gif
