amynicole21 replied: The jury is still out on the gender thing for us. I honestly haven't decided for sure yet. We still have a while before it's even possible yet. And as for belly shots... nothing I would share with anyone in a million years!!

The belly isn't lookin so spiffy these days. Maybe if I can get my photographer to take some over the Thanksgiving holiday when I'm home and then edit the be-jeezus out of them with photoshop it's a possibility. I feel like I should but I'm not really feeling it yet KWIM?

coasterqueen replied: We will find out the gender. My 18th week appointment should be somewhere of the week of Nov 8 - 12...so it should be sometime that week.

We want to find out so we can finish decorating Kylie's room and the playroom. Not so anxious to decorate the new baby's room yet, but the other two rooms I am. If it's a girl...we'll move Kylie to the back bedroom and keep the nursery the way it is. If it's a boy we'll put him in the back bedroom. Same goes for the playroom....if we have another girl we'll decorate the playroom for girls..if it's a boy..we'll decorate it for both girl and boy .

I know u/s aren't 100% accurate but we'll take our chances. DH said if we are told it's a boy and he's not SURE (he was SURE with Kylie after seeing the u/s)...we may go get a 3d or 4d in St. Louis..but we don't want to travel there if we don't need to.

Belly pics...I have one on my website from 9 weeks, but I should mention that's after eating dinner so I'm a bit bloated there, lol. Dh is going to take some new ones this weekend since he's home now. He came home yesterday and said "OMG, you've grown an addition onto that house since I've been gone". He's having fun with the fact I'm showing so early. He's excited about it.

Yeah...Hubby and I have decided,after alot of debating,that we are going to find out our bub's sex.We have an ultra-sound scheduled for the 5th Oct to find out our bub's sex.

That's only three days away, no wonder you're so excited!! I can't wait to find out either! We didn't get given the option when I was pregnant with Cassie, i quite liked the fact that it was a surprise anyway . But if I had had the choice I probably would have asked to know, just to be prepapred! Interesting q Aimee! Did you find out when you were pregnant with Maddie and Ethan? xx

~Roo'sMama~ replied: We aren't going to find out... I kind of want to know but I also want to be surprised! Maybe with the 2nd or 3rd one... but DH says he doesn't ever want to find out with any of them.

As for belly pics, I don't have a belly yet - at least not a pg one!

mama3x replied: With DS, I didn't want to know. With DD, I didn't want to know but DH did. With this one, we kinda had to know since we live in a 2 bdrm condo - we need to think through options.

However if we had the extra bdrm, I wouldn't have found out the gender.

Maybe u/s aren't 100 percent however in ours at 18 wks, I think it was (after all, he grabbed something between those legs LOL).

Belly Pics???? Well will have to think about that one, have put weight on since going on holiday and its not stopped since (lol)

Got my medical on Monday 11th so im getting all excited about that.

Hey yours is just the day before mine . My doc appointment is on the 12th in the afternoon. It's a state holiday on the 11th around here and my doc isn't in that day or else I'd be going that day too. Can't wait to hear how yours goes .

Cant wait, so excited. Gone a little mad though and went and spent around £600 so far on baby bits (grows and so on) also put a deposit down on a Travel system.

We get paid monthly so when we have the money we buy rather than waiting.

Starting to feel better the sickness is slowly going

Hee hee, I remember doing that during my 1st pg. We bought our crib EARLY, we were just too excited. Since we have everything we'll have to wait to find out this one's sex before doing any buying.

I'm feeling good except for this spotting/cramping. My fears will be eased again when I get to hear the heartbeat on the 12th .

How about you? Things going well? M/S gone yet?

The M/S is slowly going but other than that im fine, the spotting has stopped and only had a little blood the other night after think you know what i mean.......

Craig is ever so excited last night he had hold of one of the baby sleepsuits i had got and was like Oh My God cant wait.

Let me know how the 12th goes..... But your excited......

Hee hee hee. I know what you mean but I can't say I know what that's like. Dh and I aren't allowed to "you know" because of the spotting. Poor guy and poor me are going crazy. I have this feeling we won't be able "to" during this entire pg if it doesn't stop. The doc said because of the type of cramping I'm having that it's too risky right now.

Oh well...

Well, we decided that we didn't want to know when we were pg with Maddie. That was all over rated and I wish I would have found out. ( Even though we really didn't have the opportunity.) We found out with Ethan.

mrshires replied: I want to know the second I can No, it's not scheduled yet. I just have my first appt w/ the OB on Tuesday.

I'm really worried about this one b/c of having miscarriage in April, and them doing a bunch of tests b/c of abnormal paps. I had 3 abnormals in a row so they did a biopsy at the very begining of Oct. The OB appt really was a follow up to that, so I'll be a nervous wreck until that's over with

Boogabearzmom, where are you from? I grew up in St Louis and lived near Cape Girardeau for 5 years before moving to Tampa a year and a half ago. We just went on vacation up there b/c I was homesick
