Emergency Surgery...
mummy2girls wrote: Hello guys... The past 2 days have been a whirl wind of scariness. Thursday Morning I woke up at around 430am because Breanna woke up. I had gone to the washroom and passed 3 humungous clots! (sorry TMI) so i went into the hospital emergency room to get checked. They sent me for an ultrasound and it showed I had placenta still in me. So they scheduled me in for an emergency D&C. Marcus's mom took breanna so marcus could stay at the hospital. I was wheeled in and given the risks and that my uterus could indeed be taken out if it gets risky. So i am put on the table and strapped down and i remember closing my eyes and then the next thing i know im in recovery and they are admitting me. Marcus was put into a waiting room for 2 hours and had no idea what was going on.. he was getting mad! I was wheeled into my room and that when marcus was lead to me. According to the doctor I hemorrhaged so bad that i lost almost 2 liters of blood. I coded and i almost died on the table. I still have my uterous but we are not able to have any more kids. Marcus started to cry because he thought he almost lost me. The next mroning they had me try standing up and going to teh washroom to clean off and i passed out on them. My hemoglobin started off at 150 and it went down as low as 82. so i was finally discharged today. if i strt passing more big clots then i need to get a partial hysterectomy!

punkeemunkee'smom replied: I am sorry Shelly! I had a similar issue when Teagan was 4 weeks old minus the D&C. It is so scary to not know what is going on. Hopefully now you will start healing quickly. Don't give up hope about another baby sometimes they just give you worst case senario and things can change if you heal better than expected.
mummy2girls replied: the doctor said i will have a high risk of hemorrhaging and that i may not make it through another pregnancy... we were done having kids anyways... Marcus is getting fixed
