Driving school SUCKS - **small vent** Sorry!

But dear God! The chairs are like the hardest chairs known to man, so my feet swelled up to the size of grapefruits.
THe instructor is an 80 year old retired State Trooper who talks EXACTLY like my grandpa. LOL It's really cute!
And the people that are in this class.....OH! Shoot me now! Two of them talked throughout the entire class!!!! Not loud, but enough that it was annoying. Especially the comments they were making about the instructor and stuff. It was just RUDE! And then there's this other guy that talks like a snail.....R...E..A..L...L..Y.....S...L...O...W!!! And he feels that he has to tell us all of his examples of bad driving and all his experiences.... I'm sorry, but I really don't give a crap! LOL

I finished the workbook last night on my own while the one guy was going off on one of his "example" stories. and I bet I could take the stupid test right now and pass.....It's all common sense! UGH. Just 4 more hours...just 4 more hours......

Ya ya! That's was DH said. It's just bad b/c I've been having contractions off and on for the last couple days and looking at myself in the mirror today...I think the baby dropped. Just what I need is to go into labor in the middle of class.

Kaitlin'smom replied: 8 hours to keep what 2 or 4 points off your license? I do know in the state of ohio even if you take the class it still shows on your driving record you got a ticket, just the points (which are more used for suspension) dont show. therefor it can still effect your insurance....if they find it

oh and to help with swelling drink tons of water and put your feet up.

Actually the class will remove the ticket completely, including the points. It's like getting a "free" ticket...except it cost more for the class than it did to just pay the ticket.

I also can't put my feet up b/c all the seats in the class are filled, and they only take 2 ten minute breaks in a 4 hour period. So if I drink MORE water I'll end up peeing my pants. I barely made it to the two breaks last night. Oh well......It's almost over.

Wow sounds like a few speeders, how often are you allowed to take this class over paying the fine? do you know? I was just wondering how many might be repeat offenders

The kicker with him is that he said he always calls in to 911 to report excessive speeders when he out driving, and yet why was he there???......oh yeah...for SPEEDING! Such an idiot!

Well it better be true, b/c I've got it in writing! LOL and you can bet if they try to screw us over I'm so giving them a piece of my mind.

There's like 28 or 30 in the class. Not all are for speeding though. Some are minor traffic violations and a couple "accidents". The instructor was so funny. He asked one guy that said he was there for an accident ticket "So, what were you doing when that other person backed into you?" LOL I thought it was funny anyway.

I'm actually not sure how often people can take the class. But I do know that the class will only take care of 1 ticket...not multiple tickets and not major offenses like DUI or something. This is actually my first ticket in 7 years, and it's only the 2nd year they've offered this class, so I've never been offered it until now. There are a couple people in the class that said it was their 2nd ticket, but not sure in what time period. Sorry. I'm not really into bonding with any of them either. LOL
